It didnt become impossible yet.
Even if it makes it harder, it doesnt make it impossible.
While it is true israelis approved 181, plenty of historians suggest it was a tactical decision, as they expected palestinians declination.
Likewise, both societies were framented, and in both there were voices advocating for opposite approaches: etzel guys in israel harshly opposed 181; and nashashibians in palestian advocating for peace.
The palestinian reasoning for declining 181 is also not brought neutrally enough. In their perspective, the self determination principle was unjustly excluding palestine, and the 181 is an attack of their homeland. Since 1988 though, they dramatically shifted position, aligning with international decisions.
Egypt and jordan didnt conquer these lands. They conquered different lands, and in the rodus ahreement they agreed on the ceasefire line, with some land swaps. In addition, military situation was such that Israel could occupy the while west bank but didnt want to, for demographic considerations. Moreover, it's not accurate that only palestinians were ethnically cleansed, with a lot of Jews cleansed from east jerusalem and gush etzion (and in earlier stages of the conflict also from Hebron and Gaza.
It's very very misleading to say that since 1967 israeli government tried to make it impossible. Untill Netanyahu, while most govermnets supported settlements, those were around the border or in the jordan valley, attempting to carve more territory from the west bank. Settlers working without govermnetal support (until Netanyahu) called Gush Emonim are the ones who are attempting to settle in places which deny palestinian territorial integrity andthwart 2 states solution (the mountain's back, the E1.
While it is true former Israelis tried to make the ring around the jerusalem, they didnt complete it to date, and the attempt wasnt to whart a palestinian state but to control Jerusalem.
The east jerusalem annexation isnt really east jerusalem - but consisting of the real east jrusalem, along with dozens of seperate towns israel declared as jerusalem.
It's not true to compare west bank disengagement to gaza by sheer numbers. The agreed seperation from 2008 suggests only a handful of settlers will have to evacuate, with most of them finding compensations sufficient.
Peace talks reached the closest in 2008, not 2003.

All of these settlements are illegal anyway and lsraeI is a danger to Jewish people all around the world.
Jews should be safe EVERYWHERE, not be put in a reservation.
Especially not one that is this hostile to the CIVILIANS of its neighbors and then claims a Jewish birthright for aforementioned agression.
That's just self imposed blood libel and none of my Jewish friends are comfortable with that aside from one very uninformed one who just repeats talking points that Jews deserve a safe place
Yes they deserve a safe place that entire thing should be safe for them all the way around.
But using military might to wipe civilians from their homes isn't the way to get a safe space
Making just one country isn't a way to get that any way. That's just a shortcut to calls for sending them back to where they belong.
My Jewish friends belong right where they were born, or where they rightfully moved to. They belong in the country they grew up in, the country they went to school in, the country they moved back to.
And no, by that latter one I do NOT mean thousands of years after the fact, I mean five generations at most
If you wanna go back dozens of centuries, give America back to the people who have their roots there. Not going to No, I didn't think so, because European Americans built a life there for generations. (Though they should still give back the rights to the land IMHO but I wouldn't go as far as say remove them from the country because that's entire families that have centuries of life built there)
Back to 48 borders and if they need more space to live, try buying land in one of the allied countries. Probably safer, cheaper and more comfortable than buying weapons from them anyway

Please don't use the term inconceivable for the idea of moving a large population including armed resistance from an area they call their home. This applies to Isreali settlers in the West Bank, sure, but it also applies to Palestinians in Gaza, and, apparently, the sort of actions needed to compell such an exodus are very conceivable to Isreal's current administration. They are horrific, certainly, and I am by no means suggesting it would be reasonable to advocate for such actions to be taken against any population. But they are, quite clearly, conceiveable. And enforcible. And have largely been carried out in recent memory against a different populace.
It's not inconceivable to move that kind of population, it's inconceivable that those in power would turn that force on the Isreali people occupying Palestinian land in the West Bank instead of on the Palestinian people occupying the Palestinian land in Gaza. (Also, the displacement of the Isreali population in the West Bank is not the same as that of the Palestinian population in Gaza. The Isreali population can go to Isreal (as in actual Isreal, not occupied Palestine Isreal. The Palestinians of Gaza can go. well. the Isreali's don't exactly have an open border. Egypt doesn't really, either. And the Isreali Navy apparently has the Mediterranian blockaded. So. yeah. That's a problem that de-settling the West Bank doesn't have)

At this point, a two-state solution is not in the cards, nor probably in the distant future. Although the Palestinians do labor under severe restrictions, Israelis have an aversion to being shot, rammed by vehicles, blown up, or stabbed. If given a choice, most Palestinians would rather have Israel disappear in preference to establishing a state of their own (1948-1967 unoccupied by Israel. Until the jihadi movements are repudiated, any substantial evacuation of the West Bank areas would be suicidal on Israel's part. In my view, a viable solution would be a shared governance of this area by Jordan, an already established Palestinian state, and Israel with an emphasis on keeping the peace. A sustained commitment to economic assistance by the international community and the removal of travel restrictions, checkpoints, and illegal settlement areas could accomplish much to remove Palestinian grievances. Reform of the Arab/Palestinian educational system that tackles the virulent Jew hatred prevalent throughout the Middle East would also be helpful. But an independent West Bank run by the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, the PLO, etc. does not make sense.

Hello, I usually just watch these types of viedos and not comment, as I am an INDIAN, it often not currect or fails to understand the ground reality of the topic. But I will say this, if Israel were to excepted the TWO STATE solution, then in some time they will demand that the entire region is their based on some BS invasion their ancestors did. As ro why I am saying this, I live in a country where it says it is SECULAR but the ideas of secularism is only enforced on the majority, and the second largest group, which despite having millions os members calls itseld a minority and basically threaten and openly say they will converst the entire contenent or kill everyone cause they think this is their land even though they got their own state, 2 infact, where groups orther then theirs are basically wiped out and the remnants live in constant fear. So in the end I will say this, if someone who has oniy one home in a city is threaded and attacked on a daily basic to give that home up, that's the real problem.

Judeans have been trying to control and steal neighboring the land of their ancient foes the Samaritans land since biblical times. They have also coveted the ancient land of the Philistines, now called Gaza. Now they can, with the blessing of the UN security council and American weapons and property developers. Zionists will never grant one-state citizenship rights to most of the historical later waves of settlers to Philistia and Samaria, because they are racists. The inconvenience of 30, 000 actual Samaritans still being present in Samaria, as they have been for 2400 years at least, is dealt with with the racist step of defining them as Judeans, a thing the Samaritans reject but are powerless to resist in the face of mass colonial migration of land thieves claiming descent from ancient Judeans.

The next targets will be Jordan, Lebanon and The Sinai desert once the west bank Golan heights and southern Lebanon has been incorporated into Israel. The forced population transfers will trigger war with Jordan and Egypt which will be used as justification to capture Jordan and it's entirety as well as Egyptian territory and take control of world trade through control of the Sues canal. Further in the long term there is the plan to capture the deltas of the Nile and Euphrates. This is also compatible with American's long term aim of destabilising the global south as the collapse of Saudi Arabia and the gulf states will give them justification to invade and capture strategic oil resources as well as useful infrastructure and cities while moving the Arab populations into reservations in the desert.

I don’t get why the Palestinians still want a state under the PLO or Hamas. The Arab citizens of Israel have more rights and opportunities than nearly any other Arab outside of Israel. If I were Palestinian, I’d accept Israeli annexation, accept Israel being a Jewish state, and in return demand equal rights like the Arabs of Israel have. The West Bank and all those who live there would greatly benefit with peace and money pouring into the newly pacified region.
And maybe it’s too optimistic, but the Palestinians accepting annexation and the idea of Israel being a Jewish state might ease the fears some of the Jewish Israelis who are concerned with demographics have.
Read the writing on the wall. The Israelis are not leaving the West Bank.

reply

I feel sad about this, I mean I don't think a Palestinian state was ever possible, or at least not in the visible future, but the fact that the people of the west bank who don't live under area A, or even those who do, have practically no rights is simply wrong. I 'd wish for Israel to just either give them souverenity (not gonna happen for obvious reasons) or just annex them and take care of them as citizens, because even though rn the IDF technically protects also the Palestinians from the settlers, it's not always the case and there's just no one the Palestinians could turn to. I say this as a big Israel supporter, but you gotta give freedom to Palestinians, even though you don't give freedom to Palestine

spend a mountain of money on decades of war and conflict and expect all kinds of casualties, f. e. military and some buses, bars, etc to go-kaboom every now and then for ever. Or spend the same (or lower) amount of money on peace and give the enemy some land. Of course, if you achieve peace and settle the conflict with your neighbour, your population won't have anybody to hate. Tragically important in politics.
By the way, it would have been nice to hear (see) what piece of land the Palestinians want and how flexible their wish is. Would they demand more, if they got some land How much would be enough And exactly where I really don't know enough about their wishes / demands.

Isn't it just terribly ironic what Israel is doing to Palestine, after what happened to Israel 90 years ago
I think we all know what's going on here, and we all know what we wanna say but won't.
I find it just incredibly ironic that they are the most protected group of people in the world right now. You can't say or do anything even remotely against them or you know what happens.
They control America like a puppet and have their hand in every single part of entertainment/media we consume as well including music, TV, radio stations, books, etc.
You don't even have to talk bad about them either, you can just simply disagree with something and we know.

Start with semi autonomous region options for Gaza and West Bank offering the Palestinians order, economic stimulus, a government structure at the international level.
Make sure bench marks are in place ensuring compliance, security, mandates to disband and withdraw from fringe terror entities.
Provide a realistic road map through the international community for permanent statehood in the future if the semi autonomous model with its targets are met and abided by.
Hold Israel responsible for their input as the state sponser ensuring compliance based on international legal standards.
Only way this gets anywhere

dear RLL -- since 1948 and even before the world is waiting for some SOLUTION - but. you need 2 to Tango and the ARABS THAT SAT ON JORDEN land- ( and now TIKToK them selfs as palestinias ) that was occuipied in 1967 never and still DONT want to a SOLUTION - they are living in a FANTASY that somehow the UN will deliver them a land FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA they don't wont 2 staits- and all the world is PRESSING ISRAEL to wait till they will be willing -this is the reason why PALeSTAIN WILL NEVER BE - and the houses that israel is building for her citizens has nothing to do with that
reply

The idea of two seperate, opposing ethnostates in that tiny piece of land is so inherently flawed and arbitrary that it has NEVER worked.
Whoever clings on to that idea on a surface level is either ignorant of the real issues or just wants good boy diplomacy points for speaking up.
The fact is that neither side in that conflict want a two state solution (not in any meaningful way that the other side would agree too)
So the ones perpetuating this idea are outsiders who try to mediate and solve’ foreign conflicts by getting them to just stop so they don’t have to hear about them anymore.

reply

It is a great pity that Palestinian leadership rejected the two-state solution proposed at the Camp David Summit in 2000. Or the two state solution proposed by the United Nations in 1947 or by the Britih in 1935. The reason they didn't is that Palestinians want all of Israelis to leave and the State of Israel to be destroyed, (From the river to the sea palestine shall be free)And now Israel wants all of the West Bank, and intends to exclude Palestinians by stealth. The 2 State solution has not 'just become impossible'. It has never been possible becaus\e Palestinians won't agree to it.

There's a lot of explanations missing in this video, honestly. The whole The Israelis built this as a temporarily security measure, but it has lasted for 10 years is said to make it seem like Israelis are pathological liars interested only in land-theft, but no mention is made to the fact that Palestinians REMAINED security threats for the 10 years aforementioned. They literally never stop attempting stabbings, suicide bombings, kidnappings etc. Why was this not mentioned Why is Palestinian violence almost completely absent from the subject of this video
reply

Nice piece of Palestinian propaganda! Without getting in too many lies, only by omitting insignificant facts, such as: starting from 1948 and to this day Israel was the only one who recognized the Two state solution, Arabs keep rejecting it. Why Because they want the entire land, without Jews. Second every war miraculously started, was started by the Arabs wishing to annihilate Israel. And yes, every time Israel conquered land, which it was ready to return for a peace agreement (e. g. Sinai for peace with Egypt. And much more insignificant details.
reply

The two-state solution isn’t a plan anymore, it’s a relic. Too much has happened, too many people have died, and neither side trusts the other enough to make real progress. The region has moved far past diplomacy and into a cycle of fear, retaliation, and politics built on trauma. I don’t see any leadership, local or global, willing to make the painful compromises real peace would require. At this point, two states feels like an empty phrase people say to sound hopeful, not a roadmap to anything that could actually exist in the next few decades.
reply

This video completely ignores the fact that the Palestinian mission is completely antithetical to the existence of Israel. That is why they reject or break every offer of peace by the state of Israel because that would mean acknowledging their existence. The entire mission of the Palestinians is too wipe Israel off the map. Not peaceful coexistence or a 2 state system. Palestinians will not accept any two state solution. The only solution that they will accept as if Israel ceases to exist and there is only the Palestinian state.
reply

Another bunch of lies from RealLifeLore. Are you so incompetent about every topic, and I don't see it because I don't know another topics
The 2state solution got impossible after Israel withdrew from Gaza and got constant rockets on its peoples' head, and finally it was killed on october 7th 2022 by Hamas. Now there will never be any Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria. Anybody who thinks otherwise is delusional. Palestinian state is Gaza, and it is all they are ever gonna get.
