Note they shriek Balderdash! Conspriacy Theory! Creationist LIES! when it's pointed out they (the Smithsonian, scientists of that era) destroyed skeletons of Giants and dynamited beautifully carved underground cities they found. Motive was cut-throat competition with 'creationists' - if they found A race of giants, destroyed by a flood' it would be ammo for the Religious nutcases to use - Nephilhim, Book of Enoch, etc. So better to destroy those giants, ignore local myth, etc.
Right here we have open proof of them destroying fossils to thwart a rival, lies to discredit him.
Do you think they'd NOT destroy fossils of giant humans if it went against their narrative?

As the mentor of a friend of mine once said a great scientist is ideally likeable, gets quick results, and is really good at what he or she does, but two out of three is usually enough to be successful. I guess we should add deep pockets to the list, at least for this era of discovery.
