Most of the stories the ancient Hebrews put down in the Old Testament have little, if any, evidence to support them. There is no evidence for Noah's Ark, no evidence the Hebrews were enslaved in Egypt, no evidence for the plagues, no evidence for the Exodus, no evidence the destruction of Jericho had anything to do with the Hebrews (may have already been destroyed by an earthquake and fire when some Hebrew tribe wandered by, etc, so where is the evidence there was an Ark of the Covenant? I would like to believe it was real. Moses was an Egyptian name (look at Thutmose, Amenmose and Wadjmose for similar names, so it could be the Ark and characters around it were lifted from old Egyptian stories by later Hebrews. The Ark looks a lot like items used by the Ancient Egyptians in part of their worship and shown on some of their art. So I think the Ark of the Covenant was a Hebrew reworking of something the Egyptians had. It would have been impossible for four priests to carry it, much less even budge it, as described. The Hebrews did not carry a 2-ton magical box back and forth across the Sinai Desert.

Sure GOD can be seen with a telescope, microscope, radio telescope, measured by a multimeter, oscilloscope, even by particle accelerators - BUT HE WON'T ALLOW THAT. He wants people to have complete Faith in HIM, not knowledge or understanding of how He does things. These people had to use materials that were similar to the genuine materials originally used, if they used those specific materials to original specifications, they wouldn't have made the documentary to tell about it. Gold is the only non-reactive, super conductive, noble metal that exists. It's noble because it doesn't disolve in any acid with exception to hydrofluoric acid. Silver, platinum, and palladium partially do, but not gold. I don't know about rhodium. All other metals disolve in acid and in alkaloids, the wood itself can be turned into an electrical resistor, diode, or capacitor. As a word of caution: things like this project are best left to the jewish high priests. There is a scripture that says GOD SHALL NOT BE MOCKED - so be careful out there!

Lets see here. Do we know exactly what the Ark looked like? Nope. Can anyone except the High Priest touch the Ark? Nope. Can the High Priest touch the Ark anytime he wanted? Nope.
The High Priest can only touch the Ark on the day of Atonement and even then he still might die (hence the rope attached to him. So assuming you found the Ark, unless you happened to be the High Priest and it happened to be the Day of Atonement. congrats, you're dead.
You're only searching for the Ark because you believe in it, but you can't touch it because you believe in its power. So unless your just searching for a old box, kinda seems like a waste of time.

I think this would have been a much more compelling argument than resorting to feeding the box high frequency voltage especially as we arent even sure wether the Egyptians had HF generators other than the pyramid theory using granite slabs as capacitors stacked or sandwiched between air gaps.

The actual COST of lining the Ark with gold is contingent upon the thickness of the gold. The Hebrew scriptures simply state that it was made with beaten gold which is gold leaf. It doesn't specifically say how much gold was used. Come on guys! Get your facts straight.

The ark of the covenant was made from the faith of God, and some one that has most faith in God comes great power just from the faith of his Word alone, some of God's power is left over in side of the ark of the covenant, the word of God is so powerful even scrolls with thi original Word of God on them makes the ark of the covenant that much more powerful so a extra dose of power in it. the ark of the covenant has some of thi power of God inside.

You pose a 22 year old girl with a knapsack full of pillows in front of a dry rocky terrain and have her say I have 4 weeks to solve the mystery as if she were capable of hiking anywherre and solving anything at all.
