The Romans invented the road (clearly not true) but even the best roads wear out and need maintenance. The water surface may not be always smooth, but it clearly is self-repairing - just try punching holes in the ocean.

It looks like the object has striations from a glacial erratic. It s possible that the whole thing is an underwater moraine. It definitely looks weird and out of place, a characteristic of glacier erratics. I m interested to know what it actually is, even if it is just a pile of rocks. I m just glad they were able to continue with their investigation even after one of the lamest institutions in existence tried to bring them down. They re just curious!

Is there a volcano somewhere close. UFO's are notorious for hanging out around volcanos. Could have gotten to close to one and the volcano erupted. got to heavy and crashed. Also, check it for magnetics because electronics and magnetism works better when very cold. could be the reason it is so cold around it. Just my thoughts.

It almost looks like a cigar shaped UFO, disguised under stone in the Baltic Sea, similar to the submarine looking UFO that they found on the moon in Apollo 20 mission to the moon everyone knows NASA is the biggest liars ever in the Universe

I want it to be aliens; but my guess is the baltic was at the edge of the ice cap after the younger dryas (steppe-tundra, the sea floor was most likely dry ground some point in history which i'm guessing humans cut it, a lot of human history from that period is lost

Seems likely a man-made structure, possibly some sort of pedestal for worship purposes, and it possibly slipped in the Baltic centuries ago. More information about the history of the area would help.
