The narrator mentions that he expected to find rivers and green areas, if not forests on his way between the eastern border of Georgia through Azerbaijan to The Caspian Sea. But, what he saw is what he should have expected because that area has received much less rainfall for about the last 1800 years, and somewhat less rainfall for the 800 years before that also after the presumed time of the legendary Jason and his Argonauts.

It was fleece per say. It was actually old wool blanket to collect the fine flour gold at the bottom of sluice boxes, it worked very well to collect gold. I have used it myself and got in a couple of hours in a hot spot 3 grams of gold on an area 12 x 9 square of just wool blanket and no riffle. Yes using fleece (wool Blanket ) works

As a child I never missed an episode of Jason and the Argonauts on Australian radio. Did you know that British actor Sir David Jason chose the surname Jason because like me he was awestruck by the story of Jason and Argonauts? Now you are on Jason's journey. Thank you, David. This is such a pleasure!

Difficult to even consider this true. 2500 years ago is nowhere near representitive of the world's first explorers not to mention the fact that none of this is fact. The Chinese alone were sailing the world's oceans as far back as at least 30, 000 years ago.

I'm convinced that Ancient Myth is Ancient History that we have yet to accurately interpret, and what we are taught as History is Mainstream Academics/Archaeologists Myth, based on their 19th Century Darwinian Dogma.

The scripted scenes are boring & cringeworthy. Don't waste our time with fake BS about him randomly finding bike, but not knowing the language & by coincidence his translator stops by. Lmao.

Great video, but by downplaying Medeas role in the Golden Fleece quest, they are surely inviting her wrath. And if you really read the story, you will know it is not the first time: )

I hope they made love. She is clearly a KGB honey pot. And a woman in a fanny pack is too much to resist. Nice play Putiy but i bet these two felt something real

Sorry. I think this guy is so into himself. I am giving up on the kick start of the bike. Maybe there is history in this. But I like my history without an ego.

I usually can't stand Australian accents for some reason, but his doesn't bother me. Plus he does rare histories/locations and makes me laugh.

Georgia is not a corrupt version of the Arabic. Georgia in Greek means agriculture and it was named thus because of the fertile land.

I haven't heard anyone say it yet so I will: anyone else think the myth of the centaurs was inspired by the horsemen of Tusheti(sp?

its a pity everything we have been told about our history is a lie. absolutely everything. there are no coincidences in this world.

Maybe it is just me, but I am a little skeptical about that change: meeting with an attractive woman just when he needed one.
