In the worst way did I suffer at age 23 and years following, at the time I ate large amounts of beef brain, stomach, testicles, tongue, head meet, intestines. As well as pork stomach and exotic sea foods, together with expensive alcohol. Let me say it's true bout the pain, its exactly as you you said. I tried to get my employees without knowingly get me to rail tracts, to allow train to sever eye toes or foot. Knowing instant relief would follow and wound clamped shut without fear of lose of life. Yes it was that bad, so bad it attached ankle, elbow, knees, and on occasion fingers, knees, and wrest. The weight of a sheet was unbearable as well as heavy foot steps. Yes I'd eat anything in any part of the world, from Beatles heated in various African hoofed game dung to? Ant's to bats. If I could have made it to my weapon I'd of used it when it attacked my toe, ankle, elbow, knee, at same time. Now medicine and diet prevents it.

In 1986, my husband was diagnosed with gout and we knew about uric acid. The diet needed to remove beans, peas, organ meats, etc. When the doctor mentioned beans, I said, What about coffee which is made from beans? And the doctor said for him to cut back on his coffee, especially the decaf because the process to decaffeinate the coffee raised the uric acid. When diagnosed, my husband had come from a long company training session where he drank coffee by the pot. After taking the medication for 30 days and no coffee, he was feeling much better.
So, in conclusion, I say it is NOT a rich man's disease as these ancient experts are saying.

Genetics plays a HUGE part in someone's likelyhood for getting gout flare ups and the severity of them it seems. Beer and seafood are big triggers for it I know. My ex is highly prone to gout flare ups and I watched him go through so many over the years we were together. Sometimes it would last for weeks or even months at a time, starting in one foot and eventually traveling to the other one before calming down, making him extremely irritable and barely able to walk the entire time. Sometimes it would even travel up to his ankles and knees as well. Gout is absolutely a punishment a wouldn't wish on even my worst enemy.

I first got The Gout at 38. Went to bed one night after about 3 or 4 evenings on the beers and Seafood. Went to bed fine and HOT DAMN. Got woken up in the middle of the night to some invisible intruder that must have hit my big toe with a sledgehammer hammer and run away So I though at first. I rolled around on the floor for the rest of the night in stunning agony. if anyone ever tells me they have gout or have had it, I grab them by their hands. Look them in both eyes and say. How fu is that sh huh? I always get the annoying stuff happen to me. Like the clap in Bangkok

Handful's of B Complex with Panathetic Acid, Celery, Cherry Juice extract, fresh strawberry's and orange juice. DAILY orange juice to maintain.
Uric acid crystals are water insoluble and have to be broken down and flushed out of the system.
As for the pain, imagine having the corner of big iron safe dropped on the 1st joint of your big toe and as it explodes, freeze the pain at its peak. Now imagine trying to hop on one foot but the blood pressure from each hop pushes into the toe joint increasing the pain by a factor of 2.

I scrolled down a lot and literally nobody is discussing Allopurinol. And it wasn't in the video. Just comment after thread after conversation about people who suffer from gout and a litany of absurd remedies or fasting regimens when you can just take a tiny maintenance dose of Allopurinol that keeps your uric acid levels in check and live a normal life.
It's a literal medical miracle given the historical context of gout presented in the video and it's just not mentioned once.

If I was a king back then and this goit business started. I would have my big toe cut off completely. Of course I would also be taking copious amounts of opium while the procedure took place. Hell, I might consider doing it today if I couldn't get it under control.
Addendum- For those who will inevitably say you wouldn't cut your toe off, are right. I prefer the 410 shotgun method and while the pain would be excruciating it would be a one time thing, then peace.

I did have gout once in my thirty's which lead to a complete change in my diet. I started eating more fruits and vegetables and that made all the difference. I never looked back. Not knowing any better at the time it was hard to blame myself for it. I learned the hard way that good eating habits can make your life different. I stayed clear of obesity by eating a varied diet of fruits vegetables and meat in moderation. Every body can do the same with same results.

Gout runs in my family. My Dad had it, I have it, my twin brother has it and my son has it. I refuse to go without meat, so I take Allopurinol 600 mg daily. I still occasionally have a flare up which is treated with Prednisone. My doctor and my own research tells me that alcohol is not an enemy, but beer specifically is very bad. I am 66, and I love a good med. rare Ribeye washed down with cold beer. From time to time I suffer the consequence, such is life.

I think it can be genetic. My grandma and mom both had gout, and they were not big meat eaters. In fact my grandma's favorite dinner was spaghetti with fresh tomatoes, and her favorite lunch was crackers and peanut butter. The only meat I ever saw them eat was a bit of ham now and then. Whereas I eat meat every day, drink alcohol, and still don't have the gout, nor does anyone on my father's side.

Hi
I am a 73 year old woman and
I suffered my one and only gout attack last year and immediately went online where I came across a long time gout sufferer who shared his very vital findings for avoiding any further attacks! That being to cut out sugar from your diet!
I immediately did that and IT WORKS! ( Great for keeping your weight down too)Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua

my dad has gout. every couple of months or so he has a flare up, and no matter how many times he has been told to stop drinking and change his diet he doesn't listen. he'll stop drinking and eat right for a week or until he's not in pain, but the second he feels better he goes right back to his old ways and the cycle starts again. it's one of the many reasons why I don't speak to him now.

I am a diabetic with arthritis. I had my first flare up about 3 months ago. I just got over the second one. It hasn't showed up in my feet yet. I have it in my right wrist, my hands and this time it was in my left hip. I am on preventive meds, but still had another fare. The pain in my hip was excruciating. Thank God for the meds that work really fast.

Cure for gout oral or intravenous chelation that's how I fixed my problem. Also what helps black seed oil, Irish sea moss with bladder wrack, burdock root, graviola and oregano oil. You'll thank me later. PS since chelation is the main cure you most take trace minerals cause you'll loose nutrients.

Benjamin Franklin: What did i do to deserve this?
Also Benjamin Franklin: owned hundreds of people and raped slaves. This is a fact. We have proved through DNA some of his slaves were his biological children. Theres only one way that happens.

I suffer with Gout often.
The Best Natural cure that works best is as soon as I feel a gout flair coming, I drink DARK TART CHERRY JUICE.
This clears it up more quickly than prescription medications.
It really does work well.

My daughter has gout she is fit healthy, a vegetarian, teetotallerit was bought on by her Woking in a high end London hotel that would not allow staff to have drinks on the floor or go to the bathroom, hence severe dehydration!

At 2: 17, the word should be gamut - the complete scope or range of something, not gambit - a tactical device used to gain advantage. Get your word pronunciation right, because near homophones are not synonyms!

Gout sufferer here. Several bouts but thankfully last one was about eight years ago. The pain is such that a single light bed sheet covering the area is painful. That is how I describe the lain to others.
