The Aztecs were the nazis of their time, After they had completely eliminated all the local fauna From over hunting for their overall populated city they moved on to human cannibalism of the outlying smaller tribes and used their fake religion as a cover to justify it, The real reason that the Aztec Empire was defeated was because the Spanish the united with the local tribes attacked and sacked the city killing most of the Aztecs within the city proper then moved out to the smaller forts around Tenochtitlan, Spanish of course were motivated by gold And the tribes that joined them were motivated by keeping their family members from being becoming livestock to feed the aztecs The only reason that this is not common knowledge in history is because political correctness and not wanting to label Is most of Mexico as being descendents of cannibals
You don't get piles of Hundreds of thousands of human bones with teeth marks on them from ritualistic sacrifice

Feb 3, 2022: Be VERY brave as God works! The serpent became a symbol for the medical field. NOTE: I buried my boyfriend at 18, my 2nd child at 22. it only got worse as life progressed. Eventually, I learned a relative (paternal side) had dedicated me to Satan thru the Quetzalcoatl god of the Aztecs. (I was the 'pretty' baby. the perfect offering for demons) My mom was molested on a date and became entrapped by a corrupt family; with the divorce, came a backlash of satanic curses. From the state of New Mexico, their HATRED for her father's family (French Canadian) was linked to Mexico's long-standing contempt for Europeans. (See 'La Catrina') Their envy and malice for my maternal grandfather still exists today. Although they plot against you, their evil schemes will never succeed. Psalm 21: 11

those are covering of the original Mayan temples. underneath those Aztec monolythic giants in teacahn. the Aztec bolstered and emphasized their noble conquest before the Spanish 1500-1600 ad. and along with the Spanish they raided many Mayan temples and graves. the Mayan having more traditional beliefs in God and lost knowledge returned to them by way of keeping records. originally restored to them by the Lehi people entering into middle America and leaving Israel at the time on Jeremiah 600bc. the Mayan kept their geneology and record keeping. the Aztec believed in the underworld gods and demonstrated knowledge. by way of dying being buried underground in order to see into the underworld. & their soldiers are always lying down or their sacrifice. in order to gain knowledge.

It's interesting to note that the mesoAmericans nixtmalized their corn, which then had B vitamins it didn't have without nixtmalization. When the maize was taken to Europe, it was prepared without the process. Used to make polenta in Italy, it was a less complete food. The northern Italians, who ate polenta, were mentally diminished as a result of insufficient B vitamins in their diet. A slur by the southern Italians at one time was to call the northerners polentoni, which referred to their being dullards as a result of their diet. Not a problem today, because B vitamins from cheese are commonly incorporated into dishes.

There is nothing ho-hum about ritual sacrifices, especially ones which rip the heart out of the victim's chest. Why would they go to such lengths? Because the gods wanted them to, and would only help them to beat their competitor tribes in battle. Seems to have had a lot of success until the Conquistadors showed up, worshiping a strange god who had died on a cross. Who knows how many millions more would have died that way, instead of dying of all the European diseases instead.

God the pronunciations hurt my ears. Just butcher mexicas ugh, I also want to add that Chapulines aka grasshoppers are still a staple food in Mexico and so are chicatanas, marguey worms and stink bugs but the chapulines and chicatanas most definitely are still eaten and packed full of protein although i won't eat them but the chicatanas are a big ant that can be ground up and the powder used in foods.

why do the aztecs seem more mentally advanced and cleaner than the europeans of their time? i've been watching a lot of weird history on Europe and it seems to be very very different from how it was for the aztecs. did they also have the black plague? also at 8: 27 you said they used flower dye to colour their clothing, why were us Europeans still using urine to colour clothes at around the same time?

I'm sure the neighboring Indian people were glad to see them go with all their Barbaric human sacrifice when they helped Cortez bring and end to their culture. Unfortunately they had to deal with the Spanish enslavement and cruelty. Those fine Catholic Spanish and their clergy didn't seem to mind either as long as they got lots of the Aztec gold.

Because a lot of people don't seem to know it, it would be interesting if you made a video about the indigenous peoples who allied with Cortez to conquer the Aztecs. In fact, indigenous people were the majority of the Spanish armies, but for some reason most don't know it if you look at the comments section of the other videos about the Aztecs

I came to this video to learn something because i thought it was interesting, now i read some of the comments and i'm gonna watch something else.
Your ancestors and culture clearly are not worth learning about, when my kids ask me about them i'll just tell them about the sacrifices and low IQ, congratulations.

And they have to ooo many babies in Mexico too. Their women are disrespected baby machines. Need to squash that baby making idea.

Everything sounds really pretty, but ripping a person's heart out, flaying the skins off of women, and sacrificing children to appease gods doesn't make me proud in the least. If it hadn't been for stinky ole Hernando Cortes thousands of Mexicans would still be sacrificed today.

This is really great information but it was really challenging to watch. The camerawork was in constant motion. It was dizzying. You don't have to swipe up, down, left, right when introducing a new graphic or re-enactment. It made it really difficult to watch.

the aztecs were great builders. their cities had massive buildings built with symmetry and style. they must have knowledge of geometry, physics and math to build those massive beautiful buildings just like the angkor wat in cambodia

I always found it humourous when SJW's cried about how Europeans destroyed their culture. But they never look at what they did (wars, sacrificing people, polygamy. They never saw how horrible they were before 1st contact.

I read a book one time about the Aztecs. It talked about the sacrifices so much that I decided that I didn't want to learn anymore about them. TY for the additional information which has changed my perspective a little.
