world till now has been run by dumb asses assholes, fuel efficiency gets going when you create mass transportation which carries each train car more passengers then a normal car and it has multifold uses, starting with stress free commute to passengers yet bringing them to destination/stations second almost no carbon emissions, reducing diseases caused by pollution. third speed people reaching far more quicker, 4 revenue states government earning endless revenues as long as good speed clean efficient commute is being provided 5 the biggest point fuel conservation as in ratio of car taking passenger load versus train/metro undergrounds capacity to carry passengers in each bogie car of theirs, yet world given in hands of assholes till now is suffering and is going to suffer more.

If I'd been born on April 8th, instead of April 9th, I would've been at that game where Hank Aaron hit his record-breaking home run. My uncle bought us all (me & my sister, my parents, my grandparents, him, my aunt, and my cousin) tickets to the Braves game against the Dodgers on April 9th -- my birthday. We knew Hammerin' Hank was going to break the record in early April, and we'd hoped to get lucky. Unfortunately I was born a day late, as it turned out. However, I did get an autographed baseball from Hank, which I still have to this day of course, and I still have the ticket stub too. One of my most cherished memories.

I turned 18 in 1974. None of this crap was important to me.
I was an apprentice electrician, smoked alot of weed, and bought my first harley davidson.
I retired as a master electrician one year ago, smoke alot of weed, and switched to a big block suzuki
cruiser. It's been one hell of a ride!

I was never a big D&D fan. I was more of a Strat-O-Matic Baseball player and then later when I got my Commodore-64 and an AppleIIe for my birthday I found computer versions of those games. I did play Warhammer on home consoles later as well but as far as D&D went I just wasn't a fan.

You forgot about the Disaster Movie Craze in that year with The Towering Inferno (Steve McQueen, William Holden, & OJ Simpson) & Earthquake (Charlton Heston, Victoria Principal, Ava Gardner, & George Kennedy) with its gimmick of Sensoround effects in cinemas across the country.

I graduated high school in 1974 and signed up for the draft that birthday. I went away to the North Carolina Appalachian Mountains for a month on an Outward Bound wilderness course and I learned that Nixon had resigned while I was away. Then off to college.

Im so glad that your producer forced the Neil Peart story on you, otherwise my dad wouldve had a conniption! Im lucky enough to have been born in the late 90s, but Ive seen Rush 3-4 times! Peart was a brilliant drummer, easily the best of his time!
