There is no definitive answer to how many bands there are currently in the US, but it's estimated there are more than 2, 000, with tens of thousands officially and unofficially formed globally. There are also hundreds of thousands of musicians worldwide. Given those numbers, you may not be well acquainted with most of them, but chances are you've heard the names of the bands on this list. Shoulda done one on Imagine Dragons. It’s a weird name and they know it. They claim it’s an anagram that stands for something else, which has had people switching around the letters and guessing what it could be. They claim nobody has guessed it, but I think that’s because there really isn’t one. They love giving their fans puzzles to figure out and I think they just wanted to see what people would come up with. They definitely wanted a name that people would remember so I think they came up with a random name for fun.

Rock band Nazareth got their name frrom a lyric from a song titled The Weight written by band known as The Band. The lyric went like this " I pulled in to Nazareth / Was feeling 'bout half past dead"
The name Nazareth was actually a religious name. Most fans and the music industry only knows and connects the names as a band. However, for those who do not know thinks you may be talking religion. I used to work for them and I wore shirts with the Nazareth logo on it. People that did not know thought I was wearing a Christian shirt

Okay, my memory is a bit vague, because I didn't give a shit about their music when I was a kid, but did Green Day originally call themselves Green Jello and get in a legal dispute with the company "JELLO" because the term "Jello" is copyrighted"
Maybe I'm thinking of another alternative punk rock band from the 90s who faded off into music history as. what did they rename themselves Green Jelly

There was a Mexican band called Los Bukis, meaning the boys. They got that name because that's what people called them, because they were young, when they started. When the lead singer left. The others started a band called, Los Mismos - the same. Meaning they were the same guys, different band

They ADDED Narrators, Not changing them! Anyone whose watched this for any period of time knows they've went from 3 vids a week to 5&6. This needed more narrators! The main OG still does his main vids, I mean he cant do it all! And so give the newbies a break!

Another detail about Linkin Park's name: They chose a name that started with the letters L and I because Limp Bizkit was huge at the time, so the label wanted Linkin Park's records to be near Limp's at record stores, so that they'd be more discoverable.

TBH Some of these Weird History vids should do without narration Considering that everyone is complaining about different narrators for these vids.
I mean Come On! Give The OG Narrator a break from time to time

Sabastin Bach wouldn't have said anything about Nirvana being called Skidrow it would have been Rachell Borland. They were already a band well before Bach joined them
