To meat, or not to meat: that is the hotly debated question. How would life on Earth change if we stopped eating all things animal? -If the world were to end all meat and dairy production and transition to a plant-based food system over the next 15 years, it would prevent enough greenhouse gas emissions to effectively cancel out emissions from all other economic sectors for the next 30 to 50 years.
That-s according to new research published today in the journal PLOS Climate. The paper-s authors say such a shift would -substantially alter the trajectory of global warming, - as animal agriculture is estimated to account for around 15 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions. --Vox (Title etc, follows-
-This is how much meat and dairy hurt the climate-
-That would give us at least 30 years to transition from fossil fuels to renewables! -\r\n

To be vegan you have to kill hundred millions of animals, ain-t the whole point of being vegan is so the animals are free from being slaughtered or used inhumanly.
Just imagine If we don-t kill the animals and they breed like normal as studies show slaughtered animals use a third of the world green, in 5 years it be over 80% of the green land what do we do then because we will be the minority
All VEGAN don-t look at history look at the future

Not just saying this but Eddie rockets makes the nicest burger I've ever had and it so happens to be a veggie fake meat burger
That -all that's left is to implement them- bit at the end doesn't mention that there is no incentive to implement them and we will not implement them in time to avoid global catastrophe. Whatever become vegetarian or vegan if you want, if you don't want to then don't. I doubt it makes much difference at this stage

I am an 19 year old pure vegetarian. Have never eaten an egg. But yes I love dairy products icecream cake ghee butter cheese milk etc.
But this leads to cows artificial pregnancy so that they produce milk which is wrong.
I want a machine equipped with artificial mammary glands which produces milk. So this is the part of Biotechnology. How was my idea?

Labour/sports would suffer, it would effect armed forces it would be highly likely that robots will increase and a push to nuclear power with such a loss of jobs money would stop and people forced to do certain jobs, licences to be able to have children based on beliefs and standing in society would be a possibility

Veg and non veg both are important that was rules by nature and balancing earth if all became vegetarians then shortage of food happens because population of animals are increase & if they can't find any food to eat then they became non vegetarians and start eating humans and then all worlds

Let's all go Vegan to live an ethical life. The innocent animals who are raised in factory farms are in very poor conditions. They live a very sad life. Let's boycott the evil men who run these factory farms and be good children of GOD. Please friends let's go Vegan and live an ethical life ok. OM Shanti ----

HELP ME TO MAKE DEBATE Vegetarianism is the practice of abstaining from the consumption of meat. It may also include abstaining from eating all by-products of animal slaughter. Vegetarianism may be adopted for various reasons. Many people object to eating meat out of respect for sentient animal life

We do have great vegan ice-creams - and all the stuff u mention meat eaters lack too offen. Meat dies not have b12 in it naturally. its a earth bacteria in decline cause of the animal production.

Well, this is wrong for starters. Listen to Allan Savory and learn what he saw happening to the land when animals were removed. If you removed animals the land would die-end of.

I imagine most domesticated animals would become a rare sight. I doubt people would want to keep cows and sheep for pets. Basically all farm animals would become endangered.
reply

i doubt the current greens food supply would be enough for everyone. would need to take down more forest to plants more food, and it increase year by year.
reply

hence proved, do not force others to go vegan or eat meat. Let them do what they want! Either way, animals will only suffer.

It's best if the world is just Balance like all things should be instead making equal things unequal.
