Pretty sure I've heard somehow that a star needs to be 30 times the mass of the sun to become a Black Hole and 8 or so to become a Neutron Star. At the very least, Betelgeuse is apparently a star they're not entirely sure if it'll become a Neutron Star or a Black Hole. Yes, the mass of a neutron star seems to be in that ballpark, but the Star that created it was way bigger than that.
Looking it up, it apparently says 10 to 29 Solar Masses is needed to become a Neutron Star, not 2. 5. Only B and O type star goes supernova apparently (ignoring stellar remnants like White Dwarfs and Neutron Stars themselves) so again, at least 10 Solar Masses. A type stars (2 to 10 solar masses) don't go Supernova.

Know this video is old but i would also lead to a small black whole pointing toward our direction.
Thanks for this video + now i want to watch if a black neutron star collide with a white hole (not a real black hole since i expect that to win already)
