What If Earth Were Teleported to the Edge of the Universe?

Let me take you on a wild ride to the very edges of our Universe. But it won't be as simple as traveling through space. Because the edges that we-re talking about aren-t in space. They-re in time. The Universe doesn't have the kind of edge you might imagine. But there is a limit to how far into outer space we can see from Earth. And the part that we can see is called the observable Universe. This observable Universe does have an edge. Why is the Universe that we see a Universe of the past? How far back into the Universe's history could you go? And what would you see in the young Universe?

I personally Believe that the Universe just keeps on going Forever and you will never reach a Edge or loop back around I think its so engraved in our brains that everything has a Beginning and End that we cannot Comprehend something as big as the Universe and Realize it never stops ther could be More Galaxies well beyond what we can see but they are so far away that their light is not Visible to us and or our Technology and Big Bangs could Possibly be a Very Common thing in our Universe but we just can't see them because we are just to far away

So here is my question. If we look at another planet super far away and we understand that we are -looking- back in - time-. and let-s assume there is another species similar to ours on that planet. if they can see our planet. with our logic. wouldn-t they be -looking- back in-time- at us. how could we both both be looking back in time at each other? Unless this would prove we are actually existing in the same time space? Therefor our looking back in time logic. is incorrect.

I don't see the point in this video. Edge is the outer edge of the universe not the middle of it. (since the universe is expanding outwards and the video was about going back in creation which means going inwards in the universe) I would really like to know what would happen if you reach the furthest possible edge point in the universe and even go through that, what is there? nothing?

Can we talk about how insane space is tho. I just can-t wrap my head around it; we-re in an infinite dark void filled with trillions of stars and as far as we know, the observable universe could only be. 01% of the actual universe. How insane is that. And if the universe did -end- somewhere, I can-t even begin to imagine what would encompass the universe.
reply

I wouldn't be surprised if the -edge- of the universe is nothing more than our universe fading out into nothingness. If there is a multiverse, perhaps there would eventually be the beginning of another universe if you kept going further and further into that nothingness.
Than again what do I know, I'm just a fat armchair guy drinking beer lol.

UniFirst had an end just as I believe the Earth is round and I'm no flat earther
It's not infinite just big - very very big
But if the universe is so big that how big is the space outside it and beyond that and even further beyond
Maybe we are dust mites in a carpet
A vast Gigantic carpet
How big is the area Beyond this -carpet-

Time. Space. Reality. It's more than a linear path. It's a prism of endless possibility, where a single choice can branch out into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know. I am the Watcher. I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me, and ponder the question. What if?

Wait, if we could teleport to the other side of the universe, doesnt that mean we would end up there as it is in this present moment not as it was millions and billions of yes ago or how we see it through telescopes, because Teleportation has jack to do with light. Light would literally not be an obstacle lol.

No one ever knows what humanity can find at the edge of the universe especially when technology advances day by day, there are tons of stuff and weird things in the heavens that appear, your voice adds something special to the videos, great job

Imagine if a similar planet observing us through their telescopes and seeing dinosaurs and other primitive creatures. They won't know our existence and we won't know theirs.
Poor flatties who thinks the earth is flat should really see this-

reply

It was confusing at first but now i understand it. Its amazing! Btw u said right that our telescoped can only see about 32 billion light years away. That is not possible because the universe is only 13 billion years old.
reply

In this way if we could make a super telescope and a super rocket to launch it to the edge of the universe we can see our history because the light will travel so far this will be kind a time mashine
reply

The universe is a endless void where everything made get to stay, the universe has no limit but it-s creating stars in the universe faster then the speed of light.
reply

Telescopes do not look into the past, they simply receive light that has traveled from the past or has been traveling since the past. The same is the case with our eyes.
reply

If we can see 46 billion light years away then the light from there would take 46 billion years to reach us. But the unvierse is only 13 b years old?

Ancient Hindu Scriptures already discovered that 1000 of years ago that it'd take 8 minutes for sunlight to reach earth surface. Incredible -

we would be seeing the current situation of the universe. whether it would be dying or expanding. we won't be seeing the young universe
reply

-It's not expanding into anything- why do humans always do that? How would we know? We sure love thinking we know EVERYTHING smh

What if you traveled at the speed of light since birth? How far away from earth could you get before the end of your life?

The univers is ENDLESS it does N O T begin and it does N O T end anywhere. It is UNLIMITED it is always and forever.

This is. mind-blowing! This video is definitely one of your all-time best videos, What If! I'm just amazed by this video!

How would the universe look different if light didn't have a speed, instead, everything we see is how it is right now?
reply
