if they discovered Aztec and Inca they surely would have converted them as they did in east indies.
in fact if Muslim Spain modernized into the modern country in the age of exploration I think most tribal countries could have converted over the fact that if you wanted current technologies and thought to a nation a Muslim nation would readily share its knowledge with the converted peoples. more readily able to mingle genetically with other nations if they shared same values. in east indies the arabs where very fair in character probably much more so then europe at the time. Alot converted just by seeing the nature of the early muslim traders character which they had never experienced before.

already a large part of west africa could have joined the race between competition between world conquest at that time. we where already mingling in trade and culture. which could have been done in every time in africa. the same can be done with the peoples of new world

This timeline, imo, destroys the Age of Exploration, or at least shahadizes it. You need an Iberian nation, schooled by geography in BOTH the Atlantic cog tradition of shipbuilding and the Mediterranean carvel one to create the early modern ships that circumnavigated the world. Since the Arabs are notoriously indifferent to sea travel and France had two distinct shipbuilding traditions without overlap (and it would be weaker in this timeline) I declare the absence of global exploration in this timeline.
Edit: The Americas are probably close enough to get to, though.

I don't think that Iberia would remain Moorish to the present day, but it would be liberated at a much later date than in our history. Also, sailing from Europe to the Americas; you have to take into account prevailing winds and currents. In the days of sail, ships often took a more southerly route going westwards and a more northerly route going eastwards.

The arabs were carrying out raids into france. They were never intending to conquer it. So if they had won the battle of tours i doubt they would have kept going.
