Why the 2024 Election will start a Civil War Legit on that bit about big cities. Nearest big city is Indianapolis and it's vibes are terrible. Wife is a special education teacher and she was a chaperone on a school trip to a museum there fairly recently and there was some insane guy who tried to break into the bus while the students were on it and he was armed. Thankfully the bus driver was on it and was able to get out of there and the guy kept trying to hold on to the bus and break in until he fell off. Downtown Indy used to be pretty safe, but now I'm kinda scared to walk from the zoo to Lucas Oil for a convention (it's the cheapest place to park around there and free if you get there early enough.
But yeah the tension everywhere is so thick you can cut it with a knife. It's a powder keg. It's gonna blow eventually all it needs is a spark.
For me, I'm too old and settled to get too involved with a civil war. And thankfully my son is too young to get involved.
We're even getting to the point that entertainment is just not doing it for people. Our TV sucks, movies suck, video games suck, I'm a big TTRPG guy and even our big TTRPG (Dungeons & Dragons) sucks to the point that almost every group I run is turning away from it. Even porn just isn't doing it for people.
All I can do is pray to God that things turn out for the better afterward.

The thing is, where leftists are there IS always division. This is because leftists never try to understand others. They are always right. I witnessed it myself twice. I once worked for a guy who can be classified as right wing. He drove a modest car, made a lot of money, paid a lot of taxes. We had a sincere debate about one of my country's parties, he liked them and I didn't. I eventually convinced him that they are socialists with racism aka Nazis, and he finally agreed that another right party that usually gets more votes is actually more moral. These are liberal capitalists, the normal right.
I once tried to do the same with a bunch of leftists in my dorm. It failed badly, these Tesla riding kids simply can't even agree to the fact that a rushed ecologic transition will badly damage the economy. And oh, the economy is baad because it is owned by the rich. Oh and I don't agree with everything they say because like all men, historically we have been oppressors and we have always wanted to impose our views by enslaving minorities and women (I am black so idk if it made sense. Oh and I was cooking bacon, I was literally the abomination of society. The Tesla driving kids wanted to force me to believe everything I believe is evil and when I resisted a bit, I was insulted and ghosted.
These people can't be reasoned with. No wonder their predecessors sent opposers to gulags. And by the way, one of them justified the gulags. He said in these words:
In those days, those who opposed Marxism were too powerful. There was a power imbalance between capitalists, conservatives, and Marxists. The only way to solve this power imbalance was by sending all non-Marxists to gulags.
Then I asked him so, that means if you had power you would send me to the gulags
He paused for a while then answered No, I am civilized.
He lied, I could feel it.

I would be interested to hear what you have to say about the influence of the two-party system on the dysfunctional state of American democracy. In my opinion, a broader spectrum of parties is better able to reflect different conflicts in a society. All democracies in the world have one, no, two main conflicts that are usually summed up as right vs. left (although they are more complex): the one between capital and wage labour, between economically conservative and economically liberal, between little and much regulation of markets is one conflict, the other is between social conservatives (family, values, law & order) and social liberals (LGBTQ, feminism, etc.
Nowadays, however, there are a whole host of additional conflicts that are difficult or impossible to squeeze into the right-left spectrum and the two-party system. It looks to me as if the two-party system in the USA is leading to extremes and to the radicalisation of the poles, while the broad mass of moderates no longer feel represented. And it looks to me as if a multi-party system can lead to a stabilisation of the system and to the extremes not developing disproportionately, because the different representatives of the parties in the middle have to come together to work out compromises. Or am I seeing this wrong, am I interpreting something that is not reflected in reality

Why would I consider leftists human and thereby honor their humanity Do you not remember the past 3 years where if we didn't go along with their insane ideas we would be removed from our jobs There is no middle ground: Leftists are satanic freaks who are willfully destroying society and disestablishing the US constitution. You can either see that or you are blind.
Oh and btw, I have lost 2 jobs - both government positions- because of leftist supervisors removing me for following the law. So, exactly, what humanity am I supposed to be seeing here I see people who are rutheless in their search for power, and are not interested in upholding the legal system if it means that they have to acknowledge the social boundaries and limitations of their own ideologies.
Your response Muh howwl oh caaawst oh noez. Man stfu bro. This is nothing but post war propaganda to keep you in line with the globalist social narrative. Wake the f up.

The Rights youth is echos of multiple generations of compromise. Its all over the west not just usa. Its not racial either they played that hand it failed! Once you push the more mature to sacrifice for greater good its a fight its not like over dramatic sickos who through temper tantrums everyday.
100 years creating cults within cult sects who thought they was a majority is now learning the hard way they aren't. Rulers are no longer in one way professing beliefs down upon a captive audience. We will get better in time once we reshape leadership.
The Odds are good that The military only denies both mercenaries from outside world so that it could be settled under the constitution.
But of course if it's totally under the new left they're willing to sekf sacrifice it to subjugate the private sector

If your assumption of a non violent civil manifests then your assumption of a civil war starting is false because the non violent civil war started in 2008 with Obama. This election cycle will be the crescendo of this non violent civil war. The American people WILL be more united after Trumps next term. The current Democrat scheme is coming to an end and will be over when Trump wins this election. If violence manifests then YES, a civil war is just getting started and will be the Democrats new strategy for 2028 onward. If the people get conned again by the Dems then 2027ish is when violence will kick off. It's up to us the people to prevent a conflict. Vote Republican until they go too far right and the Democrats current ideology dies.

ik this is kind of just a possibility that i dont think will ever happen ever but f it i tell it anyways. What if the politicians declare a civil war but the people dont consider it a civil war and no one wants to fight either side. I mean yes their is boiling points of where it leads to war. But if a society of the non politicians and elites all like each other an its just the politicians and elites that are fighting how exactly would that work. Also if their is a civil war in america which side will NATO choose. Will it be considered a attack on one is a attack on all if one country is in a civil war

Democracy is messy when it's part of how you know it's a working exercise that pushing complexity back onto the hierarchy. Better them than us we the people. but we are still in this later stage of over coming education where now the public sector agencies and institutions are going against the private sector rare right individuals.
The heavy hitters are the oligarchy formed over the past 40 years mascarading behind those rare rights. It does come to a point where the hunger to remain status qoue to keep obsolete institutions or close to China economically isn't Worth self destruction.

There will be no civil war because America as a people have become too soft and attention deficit to commit to one. You really think a generation who have been raised on Pokemon, Uber eats, and Tinder is gonna go out there throw themselves into some meat grinder conflict They can't even get there butts off the couch to go outside. Not to mention the decentralization of authority caused by the internet and not being externally able to tell whether someone is from the left or the right will frustrate any attempts to mass a violent movement.
reply

I really appreciate your historical annaliysis despite being on the other side of the line. I think your big blind spot comes from the fact that all your data comes from the internet. all the ' big bad' right wing guys like andrew tate etc. spend a lot of time advertizing themselves on the net. idk why. I think the real folks planning cival engagments on either side, are not basing them, on porn access, but if the 'cultural analysis' is a tool to demonize then maybe you can kill ppl for doing the same things you do: (

Takes that will age poorly hall of fame contender. Not making it through 2024 just isn't realistic, as there isn't enough momentum in Washington to fight a civil war. Furthermore, Republicans feel they will take the election and the left are resigned to their loss already. There's going to be some leftist rioting and that'll be it, then the right will seek power through further right-eaning consolidation of the judicial and executive branches.

6: 17 did you look inside the book Obomi is the president of (ficticious) African small state of Beninia, not the first black president of the USA. The name is not a coincidence: Abomey was the capital city of the kingdom of Dahomey (now Benin.
Zanzibar was not completely off regarding the future for '68, but a lot of things turned out hugely different (fall of the Soviet Union, China being the capitalistic workbench of the world e. g.

The big problem with the men have oppressed women throghout history narrative, is that it has no nuance, no end, and carries on to the present.
I don't disagree that women had it rough. But men also have had it rough. And nowadays, you can complain about men if you're a woman, but don't you dare use your privilege to try to control and silence women who in reality, are saying that all men are abusers.

His point about empathizing with the other side on the points they are correct on, only works when reciprocated.
Otherwise it becomes a ratchet that only turns one way, incentivising our side to be more tribalistic and adopt their strategy of our side is always right, your side is always wrong.
Because at that point, it's no longer a battle of ideas but rather a battle of groups. aka tribes.

I believe that the left knows about all this, and during the last years they started promoting right leaning populists like Elon Musk, Jordan Peterson, Tucker Carlson etc etc, this whole narrative of the satanic authoritarian elite estrogen vegan left vs the god fearing free speech the people testosterone meat right came up in cyberspace, not the squares.

can someone elaborate on college educated and not americans
coz in europe university educations is sort of a norm and anyone without it considered sort of a dummy like constuction workers, plumbers, electritians etc, and those who have a degree are not usually left or right, just as normies with a lot leaning far right than extreme left

A saying I leared in investing applies to any prediction - The market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent. People can endure a dysfunctional system far longer than would seem even remotely plausable. Thats why exact timing is impossible (it's not logical) and tends to leap in bursts. Keep up the good work.

You're barely in your 20's, you think you're an empath when empathy is just a latent human trait. You think twitter is more vicious -now-, somehow. And you like a grifter, Doctor K, who very likely contributed to the death of a streamer because he milked him for content instead of sending him to a real mental health professional.
reply

Except it won't because thankfully most Americans have not been radicalised by the religious far right.
Problem is those that have been radicalised make more noise than your average group of 100 Americans (mid-right to centre-right. And your average 100 Americans make more noise than the population of every country combined.

reply

I don't think a Civil War is gonna happen. If you go out and touch grass with the average folk on the street people have no interest. I even live in a country setting and the Republicans here don't care. Well, at least they don't care about fighting a war. They would rather live their own lives and raise their own families
