What if France won the 7 Years War? Franklin: Not everything would result in WAR as for the Suez Canal dispute could be settled with everyone pays the same amount to go through the canal!
And just when americans move into the Mexico territory of texas! The colonists had to swear allegiance to france and become a french citizen and get land legally!
Things went bad when a dictator took over Mexico and start changing things against the very laws of Mexico! The Texans both born american and native born did not like having land just taken from them as well as additional TAXES on everything! Now texas was not the only state of Mexico that rebelled at that time but the only one to win their rebellion!
Now if France did not take land or had or increase taxes then there be no trouble from the people! Remember they not americans but different colonies that was separate with different laws different money and more! And many colonists did not like other people from other colonies! And for better trade and more many colonists would learn French language and in time french customs! So the colonies would never fully unite into one people but probably after English give them a parliament they may have given two or three small parliaments! To make sure the colonies wouldn't unite and be at each other! Beside the southern colonies was different from the far northern colonies in so many ways that there was much hatred toward each other! So you have to colonies each with a parliament! French territory with many second and third generation settlers that speak french as their first language and maybe english second or third language! With small towns with a mixture of different styles of building but mostly french style building and forms of local French style governments!

Well, the Seven Years War was not fought on the same levels for France and England. In Europe we learn that France was always focused on Europe more than any other continent. The best illustration of this fact was the difference of inhabitants in New France and the Thirteen Colonies. French settlers in 1763 were not more than eighty thousand in all of New-France (which was approx 1/3 of the present US, probably less after the conflicts, whereas the Thirtheen Colonies were more than one and a half million. On top of that, French reinforcements were rare as New France was far from being a priority for France, so the majority of the New France population was born inside the North American colony. With such a reality, it was totally not a surprise that the British won the war over the French and their Native Amerindian allies, but still a fair exploit that they managed to resist all this time against them. It is probably amongst the most notable masterstrokes hands down in the American-European History.
This war is greatly underrated and undermentioned. It was the first intercontinental war between Europe and America and the largest conflict until the Napoleonic Wars (which was fought only in Europe, the WWI and the WWII. For its time, and even today, it is impressive.

It's crazy that they fought for pretty much a millennium and didn't learn the lesson that working together is probably more beneficial. All it took was a German Kaiser with a spikey helmet to start building battleships and a huge army. Then an Austrian with a chocolate milk moustache shows up and completely humiliates and destroys the reputation of years of French military might, simply by driving through a forest where they didn't bother to build defenses. which was all the result of French pettiness to humiliate the German's in the treaty of Versailles. Hindsight is a great thing to see how irrational and dumb leaders never learn from the past.

The main immigrants of the US are from German regions, if Austria and France are close, considering that german regions is heavily influenced by these cpuntries? France and German Regions are the population Center of Europe. Why will the Germans immigrate to the US rather than French Colonies. How can US overpopulate more than the French Colonies?

You always say that the napoleonic wars would not happen, but you don't take into account that France would still probably have him as one of their main genaral in the late 18th early 19th century. He wouldn't be an emperor but would probably rise in the ranks to genral or marshall in a war where he could show his merit.

Wait. No lose in the 7 years war, no humiliation. No himation, no need to help revolting British colonies. No helping the 13 colonies no massive debt. No debt no French revolution. No French revolution no modern French flag. Dang they'd be stuck with the white banner and golden things splattered all over it.

It's not the first world war. If you want to call a war that, i would be the palatine succession war 1688 - 97, where again france and england fought over the control of the oceans and colonies. I also disagree with other things you said, but that's to much for that comment.

For North America there are better points of departure than the Battle of Quebec. A French victory at Louisbourg and/the French not losing the Forts at Ticonderoga and Niagara would be even better as they would occur years earlier thus causing New France to lose less land
