With all due respect, your indictment of Kaiser Wilhelm's reign and the extent to which you blame him for the totality of Germany's diplomatic woes is virtually baseless and fails to take into account the actions and agendas of various factions and individuals within both the German Empire and its foreign rivals. I recommend you read the biographies of the Kaiser written by Christopher Clark, first and foremost, and Christina Croft, to supplement Clark's work. Both authors illustrate the complexity of the Kaiser's reign unlike Wikipedia.

TBH, I would prefer it if you stated your religious bias and demonstrated how you worked through it. Your videos are very thought-provoking and enriching, but they're becoming predictable because your analysis rarely strays away from religious fundamentalism. I don't even disagree with a lot of your religious analysis most of the time. However, I do have to point out that including 'secularism' in a list with 'facsism' and 'communism' is a clear demonstration of your bias.

ataturk wasnt a young turk though
the reformers that in this reality changed the otoman empire were inspired by militarist germany unlike ataturk who was a huge legalite egalite boner
im saying that the otoman empire might not have been as well off politically as youre saying
the oil probably makes that unimportant thuogh but im not well educated enough to make that call with complete confidence

An alternate history change point could involve in Kaiser Wilhelms family having better luck with health care. His father died young from misdiagnosed throat cancer, and Wilhelm was crippled from a bad delivery that resulted in a withered arm. His father would have been unlikely to have been as erratic as Wilhelm, and a healthy Wilhelm might have been less of a loose cannon.

The world reacts in this video is unnerving. While Democratic socialist policies grow, racism is alive and well, while progress for women gets shoved back one hundred years. And the most disturbing fact is that this type of wold is described as stable. More stable than ours. I shudder at this thought.

Hi
The only possible people who would benefit from this world would be germanic/maybe rest of Western Europe too. Despite its chaos, our world is far more balanced, which means more competition, which means we will be hundreds of years again of this world at a certain point.

The main takeaway I always get from these videos is that things happened exactly the way they did for a reason. He always does a good job of breaking down the social, economic, and political pressures that led to things happening just the way they did.

You conveniently neglect to mention just how devastating the Nazi invasion was to the Soviet's development and population. Prior to WWII they were growing quite rapidly, by the end their country was in ruins and tens of millions were dead.

He acts like Western Europe had never committed atrocities and massacres that the world had never seen until WW1. Like, do you know that Europeans best past time prior to WW2 was tormenting and killing each other in the most inhuman ways?
