I had always ignored this as something that americans do because they have more money and time than brains and always thought that it will not affect me, then I strated to grow up and be affected more by double standars, then one heavy slap of reality was when I was planning participating on a competition (BTW I'm and architec from latin america) and one of the requirements was that you must have at least one female, now in my particular school the ratio of females was like 8: 2 in favour of men, so we had to choose the friend was going out and choose and almost beg for a women to enter the group, also one of the things they asked was one of the members wasn't and architec and there was an advantage if that person was a woman with certain background. Now the thing got me mad was most of the groups were female only, I asked if they didn't require them to at least have a man and the asnwer was not, it was ok if the group as only women, now the thing is my uni was an exception to the rule because it s free but with very limited spots, for example when I applied the proportion was something like +3000 people to 120-130 spots for the whole country and it is generally worst, and it's also the best, by far, anyways the thing is the rest of universities are 60% to 70% female to male, I had professors that had only females in all classes in the semester, not even a man, so it was unfair that competition we had to limit our group and others didn't, we got an honorable mention, but turns out that they give those to all the participants that passed the second round (+30 mentions) and it usually is for the one that didn't make it on the podium the 4th place.
After that I saw how the goverment had women only jobs, also trnas only jobs, or that they have the advantage, and it's sad knowing tht if I rn for a opening I have less oportunities becase I'm man and the girls that got pregnant early by the thugs that rune away had more possibilites because the preference for single mothers is really high in my country or how some benefits like degrees or special grants, credits, programs, are women only, the best example i have is that the govement opened free programming courses for women, also the got other benefits, but the one open to all public had less spotsand the competition was brutal, for women was: you are women, sing this parper and you are in, Welcome: ) for the men and the rest was you want to learn to code, make a web page using the terminal on your device and make it like this, connec to to this server that you had to configure so it's visible, you are competing with thousands and have 3 days good luck and I wish i was joking

As an Indian woman, we have been seeing the same waves of neoliberal feminism surging up that gripped the Western world in the 90s and 2000s. This is partly because it has only been in the last two decades that Indian women have been culturally permitted to enter the workforce. Having our own financial armor meant that we are less likely to have our lives fundamentally disrupted by toxic, conservative men (Older Indian men are a force to be reckoned with.
Although we have had subaltern feminist movements, nothing has been more culturally powerful than the feminism that tells you to be a girlboss. But in India, girlbossing also means relying on live-in housemaids and ayahs that are often from marginalized communities. So what we're seeing is that the only way to secure your freedom is via a white collar job.
Being a woman here is harder than in white countries. It's not a safe country and it's run by very dangerous and regressive people. It is a society that abuses both men and women, because life is inherently cheap here in India (You cannot live with dignity because our infrastructure is crumbling. So more and more women are now subscribing to these narcissistic set of values that have seen them withdraw from a society that they know is fundamentally unsafe for them. This is a psychological crossroads I am at as well. I have men in my life I really value but I know also that I could be attacked at any time on the streets. The same paranoid hyper-vigilance over my safety that genuinely hampers my outgoing and outspoken spirit could very well be the fodder for full-fledged misandry in someone else. Right now, there are no public conversations on how to foster a healthier culture.

A lot of the radicalism in feminism (and other left wing causes) is spurred on by an apparent paradox they instinctually recognize but can t solve. That is, leftism and progressivism advocates for few or no children, if not literally then in effect. Since the primary method with which ideas and beliefs are spread is parent to child, feminism is under strain with fewer and fewer converts. Feminists are dying out, because they fail to have enough children. The only way to sustain their culture is by converting the children of the people who still are reproducing, which as we know, is the more conservative elements of society.
This is why feminists are ever more radical, and ever more aggressive to keep control of the institutions that influence children and young people: schools, colleges, popular culture, etc. They need to convert your children to keep their values alive. I m reminded of a feminist that would send in letters to the editor in the local paper who was absolutely livid that parents pulled their children from her assembly at the school. When someone else wrote in and asked why she thought other people s children were hers to lecture, she wrote back saying that the patriarchy was not gone but was merely laying low until the radical feminists were gone, and then would return with a vengeance. In other words, her ideology has a sell by date, and the on, y way she could further perpetuate it was by forcible conversions of the non-believer s children.

I like women's advocacy, and feminism is the polar opposite of that today. Feminism preaches against what makes women women, i. e. femininity. Feminism is against masculinity, that which is attracted to and wants to defend femininity. Feminism makes a power grab of the rights men have in the guise of equality, but on the other hand preserves the privileges of women above men, making them a higher caste above men. Feminism preaches to women to chase after men's roles in society, to be masculine (which is very unattractive in women, to forego what they were biologically created to do: childbearing, because muh oppresshion or something. This in turn makes women in their 30s or 40s bitter and hateful of men, because they've spent their lives trying to gain approval of others by proving some useless point of strong independent woman when in reality that's not what they wanted. This creates a communist-like envy among these women, wanting to tear down everything. Couple that with how spoiled women today are with political and cultural power and you've got a recipe for outright narcissistic rage. Just look at your average rioting feminist.
If feminism changed direction and actually did women's advocacy, wanted to make women's traditional roles in society highly regarded and respected then I'd happily call myself a feminist, because in general I like women and don't want to see them fail. We need women. Without them humanity will not exist, literally.

Thanks for the great works much appreciated as always. I will try to show this to my somewhat ha, deranged liberal leaning (single-)mother, hope it doesnt go in 1 ear and out the other. She completely derailed, and ruined both our lives since we left my grandparents. It was something terrible we will just say The Sound of Freedom ha, we lost our best years for nothing now she now has health issues, is declining rapidly, and is double v xxed lmao, her ex bf a proper liberal alcoholic loser pushed her to get them. Also after my dad passed she had a nice property/sum left to her, but her or my family have no financial literacy, so she burned herself out pretty good working with abor- cough, special needs kids, 20k a year after taxes, super empowered. She squandered most of that sum since we left some toxic apartment building, and I ended up with mental health issues and complex-PTSD from this period. Now we are trying to rebuild our lives. Funnily if I just left her to those guys (and my single mother aunt) and went back to my grandparents like she screamed at me to, I would have done real well by now. I wasnt liberal enough lmao. Balance.

The problem is that very vocal liberal circles have ditched the social good for dogma, and the central idea behind that is adjusting society to include everyone even if that handicaps us all to the point where we look like idiots. This also includes things like women forcing themselves into the mainstream because they benefit from the current wave even if they disagree with most of it, and I think that what we are seeing has more to do with the fallout from challenging people that stand to benefit than everyone agreeing that we need things like tampons in men's bathrooms.
I'll also say that much of what you post is off base because you're biased, and I think that could make a compelling argument against the current waves of feminism (not all of it is bad) if you starting comparing historical events to peoples root motivations. However, I understand that you don't have a standard education, so perhaps you don't really know how to step back and craft a rock solid argument in a way that would be so well supported by research that people would have to resort to name calling because they couldn't argue with you.

I found myself disagreeing heavily here and fact checking some of your most dubious arguments from my view (according to Karafet et al 2004, it's not double the female ancestors as male ancestors, it could actually be 17: 1. Blows me away still) and spending pause time to determine what about and why I liked or disliked particular points.
The quality of your viewpoints can be debated (I quite like the vast majority) but you do make a great number of poignant points in such a 22-year-old condescending style that it's impossible to disengage from them.
I'm 28 and single (therefore contributing to a civil conflict, statistically, I suppose) but if I was in the mood for a deep conversation about beliefs for date #20, I'd 100% bring up with video in a me-and-her-vs-whatifalthist sort of way.

Men are generally used to holding back their feelings for the benefit of the group. So, too many men held their tongues, thereby implying consent for the very things they feared. Then these men were forced to watch as their fears were realized. Unhappy daughters and sons who are undervalued. Brothers paying child support and sisters who can't find lifelong companionship.

let me explain a little portion of what might happen.
Young men like me are aware of whats happening around us, and the bias that is surrounding us. We all know for a fact that men tend to work harder and collaborate better because they have the responsibility of doing so. This will enable them to get higher up through the different social ladders all while they will be carrying that bitterness against women in their hearts. And once enough of these men rise to power the tides will begin to turn.
This is scary but a probable consequence of this anti-men notion going around.
We can already see it happening in dating world, where men's mentality of being the providers is being changed.
This is going to be sad to watch.

The premise of your argument is that women don't understand the masculine physical world because they have not been apart of it. The solution to that could be teach all young girls certain masculine skills in school such as Hunting, field survival skills, Mechanical skills, shooting, carpentry, boxing/martial arts, or flying. The goal would be to introduce girls to the masculine world alongside boys.
Finally, The idea that men are evil or down with the patriarchy needs to end.

Lol we have ourselves to blame for our own progressive thinking. Woman always have had an important role in our society. It was something that most of the population valued. Having a complete home, where the father worked for the family and the mother made a home for the family. Now we reward individuals with middle management or administrative positions who don t necessarily merit it and often given to them due to their gender or self identity. Careers are a means to an end. Family is what keeps civilization and society afloat. Somehow that has been lost to people for at least 40 years. Look at the rise in crime and lowering of IQs.

Idk, I still haven t seen even the most raving irrational feminists propose legislation that s explicitly unequal. The worst I ve seen is like an addressing of the pink tax or essentially making it illegal to markup female targeted products or like maternity stipends, but thats household money for both the husband and wife. I can also see moral objections to abortion topics, but that s an ethics issue and is argument of where/if there s a line between matter and person. I still think modern feminists hold to the core tenets of the ideology despite how obnoxious they ve become

Since anime is coming from a civilization and society that has more traditional views of women, females in anime trend towards exhibiting traits such as loyalty, subservience, or wanting to settle down, appealing to Western audiences who have to deal with the crap our own media has put out. Though sadly with the Japanese, their crashing demographics and social issue are caused by a different problem.

Go back to Genesis, God cursed man to work from an accursed ground, women to be in harsh(er) labor and them to desire their men likes sin desires to enter our houses, yet man will always rule over them. If you read this passage you can clearly see which of the two parties is the stoic one and which is the unhinged one. Put the relationship between the two parties out of order and the consequentces are not pleasant.
We are in no position to break this curse so we might as well learn to live with it.

If you read this passage you can clearly see which of the two parties is the stoic one and which is the unhinged one. Put the relationship between the two parties out of order and the consequentces are not pleasant.

For most of history and most cultures, women had a reputation for being deceitful, irrational, and weak. , and If you were to ask the average man over history, what the result of giving women the vote would be, they'd say it would create a hysterical, irrational, and profligate society.
