My gran was worked out how to solve the cube all by herself. I used to test her and mid it up all the time and watched her solve it completely intuitively in a span of about 20 minutes. Her cubes are about 40 years old, so we bought a newer one so that she could teach me. She worked out her own method when the cube first came out and used what can only be described as s strange combination of roux and zz. I'm very proud to say I'm keeping her legacy going by probably being the only person alive to know her own method. Of course, I learned cfop and just got my first sub-15 ao12, but I'll never forget the way she taught me. My gran was a genius. Rip.

I remember my first solve! totally without any knowledge of permutations. I was just trying for lots of hours until all of a sudden. wiiiii! I was like 6 years? It was also the original Rubik's one in 1984-85: D Obviously, I didn't want to scramble it anymore. XD
Now I can do it whenever I want in about a minute (obviously with algorithms. More than enough for me; D

Are they solving it the traditional way? 1) White cross 2) White corners 3) Second layer. etc? Or does their algorithm bypass all of that? I've watched a few speed cube videos and can't find the answer. Does anyone know? Thanks

only a few weeks of practice to solve it in a couple minutes he says. it takes like 3 hours to learn the beginner technique and you can use the beginner method to solve it in under 3 minutes

My average was 25 seconds after my first week with a rubiks cube
And since then (like 6 months or something idk) i have only improved around another 10 seconds on average lmao

Id say you would have to be genuinely dumb for it to take weeks to learn i learned to solve it in 4 hours and not just solve it but to do it in under 3 minutes as well

For your A05 that is AMAZING! For the time you practiced mine at that time was probably like 1: 30 ish now it around 28 seconds with lots of practice and algorithms
