I remember in high school I was throwing the 7kg ball for like 6-7 meters and It was considered a lot (my body type was not ideal anyway for the sport. I cant even imagine how people throw it so long. Similar to the long jump, I was about 4 meters long and watching athletes do 8 meters feels like they are FLYING mid jump. Just seems impossible to the average person to hit these numbers.

Why Many Olympic records haven't been broken in decades, the Restrictions on PED use and abuse, I don't need to do any searching on the physics and science of throwing to know why numbers haven't gone up since testing has gotten more strict

i got to know this guy has a lot of brute strength, can squat 800 pounds and bench more than 500 pounds. Man this guy is actually more than a beast. This guy can be anything powerlifter, a fighter, a runner, etc. That's what I call a legend.

This is incredible. And it's a good chance to say many people don't watch the Olympics only because nobody explains the marvel every discipline has in terms of a unique challenge, like in this case

My overhead press has always been more than my bench and I have several friends that are the same. Not really sure that whole -people bench more than they overhead press- thing is true.

Physics say if they just started the spin at a lower level and exploded upward as they spun it would break the record. not that I've tested a virtual model of it or anything. -

Brian oldfield use to throw over 80 feet in practice but was not able to stay in the ring when he did it. Met him several times very unique individual.
