They don’t know how to write characters like him anymore, flawed but interesting, because you can argue equally that they are heroes and villains. Now we have possessed’ heroes who end regretting what they did while another bad guy made them to do (aka Sylvanas and Anduin. Illidan, Arthas, even Garrosh made their own decisions and owned the consequences without regrets. Did they make big mistakes yes, did they blame someone else for it no (well whiny Garrosh blamed Thrall. Illidan, Arthas, Kael’thas they turned evil consciously with the purpose to help and save their own. Now we have absolutes, the good are unquestionably good, and so are the baddies.

If this was all we'd ever have from Illidan , im happy with how it went. His status is that of LEGENDS in the multiverse of gaming in general. The character development and ending (if blizzard doesnt bring him back to milk subs and cash) is PERFECT! But i doubt they will do a justiced come-back scenario of him. Illidan FTW

Ngl, I want Illidan to come back. Even that his story and his mission ended i want him back, he is among the characters that made me love Warcraft and I love his VA.
Seeing Lothraxion I really don't want him to be a villain and make him the ONLY Dreadlord who is friendly among other races.

What I would like to see is every class campaign storyline from Legion. I finished 2/12 being death knight and demon hunter.
