After seeing this, I have much more sympathy for Kael. He only wanted to save his people at any cost. In my eyes he is a good guy here. Too bad Blizz had to make him like a bad guy for the sake of entertainment. It could have been such a great character progression if they took time and effort to make it more impactful.

I didn't fully appreciate the dynamic between the naga and the blood elves. It makes sense to me now why the naga tried to turn Zangarmarsh into a new Well of Eternity: it was to provide a limitless source of magic to the Blood Elves in Outland. Before this I thought they were just doing it for the lulz.

Geeze. They made Kael's eyes green. This is before the Blood Elfs started syphoning fel magic which turned their eyes green. It may have been this way in the original game, but I thought the point of reforged was to update it which appropriate lore. His eyes should have been blue. Thanks again Bliz.

i'm still saddened that people think he's such a bad guy. but too me he's just a guy who wanted to everything in his power to save his people. He's been one of my favorite characters ever since I started playing this game 8 years ago and the Blood Elves have always been a race i'd always play: )

from what i've known about the shadowlands, even if we met Garithos Kael Garrosh and probably Varian i don't think they will remember at all about the shenanigans in azeroth. Souls are used like fuel there and i doubt the memory remained

Garithos was such an horrible Grand Marshall that his campaigns empowered the Scourge so much it could advance to Kalimdor under water.
and severely tested the bounds of the alliance as a whole.

Wonder where Garithos assembled a whole army from?
Wish we have a custom campaign of alternative where Garithos didn't chase away Kael and his people, his army wouldn't be controlled by dreadlords and betrayed later.

He should've fled to Kalimdor to live with Jaina and some of the High Elves who came with her. The two power duos (Tyrande/Malfurion, Jaina/Kael'thas) would keep the Orgrimmar from doing any aggression

If it wasn't for the fact I get to see Kael'thas again in the Shadowlands I most likely wouldn't bother playing the next expansion after that stunt they pulled with N'zoth and the Black Empire.
