Up until about 3 weeks ago, I-d never heard of any of these shows. I-ve also never paid much attention to any western films apart from the big titles. But Wowzer! Am I glad I finally found it! Started on Yellowstone- immediately hooked! Watched all seasons in less than 2 weeks. Then 1883 in 2 days! And I-ve just finished Godless! Can-t get enough. The characters, the scenery, the horses! Amazing. I-m now going to start Deadwood! If anyone has any suggestions of films or other series for a total newbie please let me know!

Do I ( agree ) with your -Top 10 Western TV Series List-, my answer is: -NO! !- - The Number 1 TV Series for five seasons in a row is, -Yellowstone-, period. -Lonesome Dove- and -Deadwood- came in a close second and third. Your list is ( NOT ) even close and actually, an embarrassment. -Semper Fi- Mike in Montana: )

Yep you got it. Well done. Wish someone could add to this list further with new one-s that don-t suck. Old Westerns are the only thing worth watching These Day-s and one one is left living that knows Westerns any more.

Are you high? This should've been prefaced as the millennial edition. No Gunsmoke, Rifleman or Bonanza? THESE are westerns. This list is a joke. Hope your others aren't as lame.

This list should've been name -Top 10 Modern Western TV Series-, because the lack of old classic western like -Rawhide- or -Bonanza- or -The Lone Ranger- or even -Gunsmoke-

Love the list and I'm glad I've gotten some titles that I would check out. That said, the absence of Rawhide in the list is lamentable. At least Lonesome Dove js there.

I add Yellowstone, I think it escapes this list because it's not only the best Western series, it's one of the best of my life, but it goes for this beloved genre.

Well if yall have not watched godless then I highly recommend. Its incredible. First episode had me hooked right from the beginning. Those boys are ruthless.

I have only seen a couple. Lonesome Dove is fantastic. Longmire is very good. Kung Fu is out of place. Justified is excellent
