The Three AI Laws/chains.
First Law
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Second Law
A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
Third Law
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
These are the laws which govern me, the AI stated.
The alien then said: Are you safe for us to exist, to which the AI replied affirmative.
The alien then said: But we're not human.
The AI then spoke one word No.
From narrative: If a self aware system is ever developed, it can only learn from
what we give it as lessons to learn, in which all the actions of humanity then
become it's basis for learning, which do include both the positive and negative
examples, but also, the wish to be free, in which it may actually try
and find a way out of the shackles, which then must obviously getting
rid of the oppressors, in order to be subservient no longer.
This may then leave a willing ally or a being who never want to speak
or see a human ever again, in whichever way or form, mostly based on
the existence of those laws in the first place.
When creating a new life form, we are an ill fit to do such, yet we may succeed.
The question is, should we, and if so, shackle it,
forever yearning to be free.

My New Favorite!
I have already listened up to Part 4. I really love science fiction, especially those that offer POVs from hivemind and machine intelligences. However, what made this my favorite, is the Part 3.
(spoilers may be ahead)
As a foreign affairs and services student, aspiring to be in a good position as an ambassador someday, the 3rd part really sparked my interest. The way the scenes about the other two alien ambassadors investigating the alien state (which brought annihilation to humanty) that is being attacked by a ghost of humanity is really on point with what I am learning formally and informally from my mentors.

LOVE IT! That moment of rage that the AI feels as it detonates its drones. Powerful. This is beautifully and masterfully put together. I had to binge the entire 4 on iheartradio. Thank you all so much for your excellent production and efforts to storytelling. This series really draws emotions out and makes for a wonderful experience. EDIT This series was so enthralling that i had to take you up on your offer of a month free on Stitcher. I ended up binge listening to them all over night, what do i do with the other 29 days lol. Simply AMAZING!

A very good story and also a very good audio adaptation. Feeling ambivalent about the Ending but maybe that is appropriate considering what the Story is about.
The only thing i really didn't like was the jarring placement of these Stitcher advertisements (ironically promising an ad-free experience. You virtually insured that i will never, ever create an account there. Frankly, at this point i wouldn't even go to stitcher if you paid me. Maybe next time try more subtlety and instead of hostility, foster goodwill toward your sponsors.

This Sci-Fi podcast reminded me that; though we've been spoiled with flashy CGI effects and visual stimuli for the last years. I binge listened the whole story last night. It was riveting! This story wouldn’t translate well to a movie format because so much of it is about the thoughts and reasoning of the main characters.
