My gosh, this was so garish and poorly put together. It was just so bad. Whoever put the translation together for the computer controls. system revamped when they probably meant system re-start What No plot, the space-crystals thing has been done to death, bad acting, CRT monitors on a space-ship Why The colour-palette made my eyes bleed--just all around silly.

They're speaking Spanish yet all the readouts are in English Ok. Whatever. Can't stand this retro over the top overacting shit. Entertaining when you're 8 I guess. Sad to see so many still stuck in that mindset or maturity level.

Boy, just like watching the old buck Rogers films ( I mean the OLD ones )! Really enjoyed it! Need more of these films you don't have to rack your brains out on what the plot is!

With a title like Bruce Gallagan I expected retro cheesy campiness, and that's exactly what I got. So bad it's good. Love some of the tossed in visual and audio Easter eggs, too.
reply

That was adorable like a mix of star wars from the 70s and Battlestar Galactica nostalgic and almost reminiscent of a parody like space balls I LOVE IT!

Hello everyone!
I'm Pau Perramon, director of Bruce Gallagan. Thanks to Dust and to you for watching: ) Feel free to ask me anything about the short film.

reply

That was great! Everything from jet packs to rock climbing on monsters, to a kiss. Bravo! Thanks for posting the content. Keep it up!

All style, no substance. I can see what they were trying to do, but they didn't do it. An AI could have written this. It lacks purpose.

I think there are references to Buck Roger and Galactica in that short. Delightful for those who like retro futuristic sci-fi. I loved it!

Brilliant Sound Production on this! I do love it when attention is paid to the audio dynamics of spaces. Fantastic stuff!
reply

OK, I loved the use of the dial up modem sound effect when the engine was having issues. That was awesome!

One of the cheesiest, dumb movies I have seen in a long time. I grew up on movies like this. Thank You.

This was fun.
Ship designs were great.
Story fine too.
Kids would enjoy this a lot.

That. was. GLORIOUS! Leaning so completely and unashamedly into the 1970s aesthetic was just delightful.
reply

It's quite the eclectic mix, in more ways than one. but we gotta get Bruce some real pants.
reply

Cheesy yes, perhaps a few steps beyond the Thungerbirds but rather cute! Mission accomplished!
reply

Bruce Gallagan! Oh, why wasn't this a Saturday morning thing in the 70s when I was growing up
reply

So umm. what does the reverse date cookie crumb signify I wonder

Edge of the seat stuff. Dead set didn't think Bruce would make it back.

Oh my word. that was utterly shocking. worse thing I've ever seen. Loved it! haha.

This is the cheesiest 80s bootleg foreign language Star Wars. I love it.
reply

Fantastic. Reminds me of the Turkish version of Star Trek. Cheesy but good.
reply

7: 28 the airplane engine noises during that loop was a touch of brilliance
reply

Yes! We need a Bruce Gallagan series in all its '70s cheesy sci-fi glory!
reply

Well that was fun in a Buck Rogers and Thunderbirds kind of way.
reply

I clicked on it just cause it had my name. lol
Plus I love SI-FI

the light was a bit over the top, but it was nice overall.
