At 2: 08 The current flow should be The current flows At 2: 10 the conductor should be directly to the conductor This proceeds throughout, sometimes losing nuance, but often rendering the original text unintelligible. Most of the time John in Populace is referred to instead as job which is really confusing. At 25: 05 immeasurable is rendered a baffling immense durable At 25: 20 its true purpose shifts to his true purpose making the short seem more religious in tone than it is. Consistently sentencees are capitalised and split up to obscure meaning. Stars scattered skies should be star-skattered skies Consistently songs and sound effects go unnoted. Children of the Cosmos: it's like there are two stories happening at once; the one we're hearing and the one we're seeing. Except, when you're in space and you throw a ball, Newton's 3rd Law comes into effect, and the person who threw it should be propelled backwards at the same velocity, relative to the mass of the ball and the thrower, that the ball moves forward. Same goes for the person who catches it. Nice try, though.
Next Door: She should have just shot him and put us out of our misery! I did like the historical reference to the Anarchist's Cookbook (1971, though.

I'm totally hooked on short form film art. Each is an excellent and exquisite haiku. No matter how meagre the resourcing behind each project, each says much. They are the origami figure of humility at the heart of a child's puzzle box. I am impressed by the talented actors, many of whom would be suitable for consideration in roles of commercial films. It's been within short films that all other contributors are expressed. Set decoration, lighting, editing, directing, foley, soundscapes, CGI, production, framing and camera work, all those names that appear in the credits. All come together and add their talent for our entertainment are drawing from a collective visual art of unknown ancestors who left our images in caves so long. Magical!

Battery Life is a brilliant little piece of work. The stop motion camera work. and the models. and the storyline are just brilliant all-round. Very well made models and sets. absolutely flawless stop motion work. and a simple story that resonates through the Ages and doubles as a Caitionary Tale.

The intro to children of the cosmos not only sounds pretentious (immensurable vastness, it makes no sense is composed of billions of galaxies, which in turn are composed of millions of solar systems, composed of hundreds of thousands of stars! Solars systems are composed of, at most, 3 stars!

'Capsules' is a really potent journey. This film is a true synopsis of the reality we all may have experienced by no longer loving or not being loved in return. Music and colour played a major role and it was so well executed. I feel honoured to view this little gem.
