Now just to backtrack a few steps. UV rays and skin cancer USED TO BE the foremost things keeping me safely covered up and indoors when there are doors to be in. Ive never minded mosquitoes either, until now. Between this films proffered mosquitoes and amphibious cave-dwelling symbiotic biological cloning machines, gone are the days of me leaving the house. Thanks, Rob Jabbaz, your incredible crew, the actress who played the woman enchanted by the spot shot so beautifully shot by your cameramen, and of course, thank you, too, DUST. Im that much safer from here on out thanks to all of you.

Very very well made CGI. Unfortunately, as most horror shorts, the ending was a huge let down and it ended exactly the same as thousand others. I feel like most people who make horror shorts just get an idea and runs with it, with no clue where to take it. And that's why we see so many bad and similar endings. It's like a joke without a punchline.

That was amazing film making and editing! But if that were I and I heard the horrible screaming, once I’m off the ground and leaving I’m not turning around especially if I hear something in the water behind me. Nope, I’m sprinting at that point and dropping anything that isn’t important. I’m getting the absolute hell out of there!

an undeveloped idea with heavy reliance on visuals and everyone goes WOW. I go so what everyone and his brother can come up with some vague, nothing ort of idea like that and then get some cgi pro and boredom ensues. If you can't craft a narrative and develop a story please don't waste my time pitching your go nowhere ideas.

this has Lovecraft written all over it. right out of Eldritch horror.
gotta give credit to the girl though. She heard that weird noise and tried to nope out right away, unlike most who would decide right then was a good time to go for a hike and some spelunking.

The CGI is really superb. I would dare to say it puts some full length films to shame. But shouldn't the clone have been an infant instead of a full adult of the same age of the girl Anyway, the technical work is very well done.

The directors 2022 movie The Sadness is probably be the most depraved insane movie I’ve ever seen. I had no clue the director had a short film on the DUST series. I cannot wait for Rob Jabbaz next film!

Amazing quality on this short film, I can imagine this would be fantastic full filmed project. Like a kind of film where small towns slowly get assimilated by what ever this mysterious species is.

The cuts of the metamorphosis process are absolutely brilliant! Each little development and that Savana-like cry are perfect. Wonderful piece of film making and storytelling in this gem.

Great work, though I am not a fan of calling horror sci fi. I suppose it could sneak under the wire as the science of biology, but it is mainly horror. Very good horror, but horror.

I'm only just seeing this, it got recommended by Bloody Disgusting. I'm so impressed! The effects of this short are absolutely incredible! It's amazing and I love the story as well!

Unlike most story lines, this gal got up and was trying to get the hell out of dodge at the very first sign of something off. She didn't make it but at least she has brains lol.
