I keep seeing people posting about how god damn amazing this work is. And while yes, from a purely technical point of view it is, I also don't get it. Like, at all. Is the purpose here to simply be interesting to look at Kinda just seems like nonsense made for nonsenses sake. Which isn't necessarily bad, but it seems, purposeless.

I actually got my art teacher at my highschool to play this short film. Most of the others in my class didn't see the art part of it but got creeped out by it and of course after people didn't enjoy it. It got changed to the bee movie but the next year we got to watch the full thing

Me as mechanical engineer, this video is very much appreciated. Especially by knowing how detailed the assembly line with gears, shafts, creatures etc. etc are made. This give the story behind the making of, another dimension and level. CHAPEAU
