Shadow of the colossus remake: 7 things you need to know

Shadow of The Colossus is returning on PS4. Here's what you need to know: what it is, what's changed, and more LektroiD: Possibly the worst PS4 game I've bought.
Gameplay: You're basically running around a field on a horse. There's absolutely no enemies to practice combat skills, all you have is the big bosses, nothing else, no adventure, just a load of near identical bosses.
Graphics: Nice background graphics, the characters are very basic, PS3 like.
General: Camera angle will not centre, and makes it hard to see what's around you or control your character, when panning it keeps pulling back to the left or right of your character, never centred.
Zero story except killing bosses, zero adventure except running around on a horse. Basically a big load of hype over nothing.

I just finished it. and I cant believe I never played this before. I laughed I cried I didnt know what to do. this game blew my mind as I finally saw where games like assasins creed, god of war and others were possibly inspired. truly a masterpiece and I officially am a bluepoint fam 100. this was a great video I hope this feedback helps. on my 3rd playthrough. romantically free in nature's and stress free. Solitary Distancing at its finest.

This game is shiiiit. What breaks it for me are the broken controls. I played the original ps2 game, but I assume I was too young to realize. I finished the ps4 version, but I really did not have a good time while playing, even jumping is tricky sometimes. And the horse slowing down for no reason near a hill. Or when you swim slower than a baby xD this game is not that great imo.

I love it so far this is my first play through the only thing I don-t like about it is I get lost so easily in the game lol it gets to the point where I just look up how to get to a colossus but once I start knowing the direction I cut off the video so There-s no spoilers

A physical game manual is now a unique collectible. I weep. Sierra-s Lords of the Realm 2 came with a meaty manual AND an addition 80 page book about European royal history. Impressions Games city-builder, Pharaoh, had a 300 page manual back in 2000.

Still waiting for a PC announcement... Didn't go spent 5k on my rig just to have to buy a PS4 pro to play this game, and I think a whole lot of people are thinking the same way and that's going to lose bluepoint a lot of business.

Although PS4 is known for having all the exclusives, this is the only game that has actually compelled me to want one. Nostalgia probably. One of the greatest games ever made.

-And those are 10 things you need to know about...- the perfectionist in me is hurting a bit there, was your editor also distracted by how glorious this game looks?

When I played it on PS2 it was fun but even back then I noticed it was boring as heck outside of the monsters you kill.
So them rebuilding this makes me say -nah......-

I haven't played this game, but I always hear people talk about it. I think I will pick up the special edition of the game and see if it's as good as people say.
