The metroid one isn't a name. Bailey is as you said british slang for bathing suit. The code puts samus in what amounts to a bathing suit so the code, using the confines of how passcodes had to be entered is litterally Just in Bailey (just in Bathing suit basically) but just in was made one word so the code could work.

Lol I remember back at school when Bully was out and people would rumor you could get cheats but no one ever knew how or if you found the dicks that did know they wouldn't tell you. Good to see after all these years that it was true XD

Growing up in tbe 80s I couldn't afford that many games, so I'd play tbe Hell out of tbe few games I had, and I saw cheats more as getting more life and fun from tbe games I already completed or couldn't complete.

Clarification: for the Mega Man 3 invincibility cheat: You had to hold down right on the D-pad on the second controller to get the effect. I know I exploited this VERY much back in the day.

The day after I got it, I skipped school and called the Sega hotline to get the blood code for MK. Then found the DULLARD code soon after. Good times.
