Some video games use dirty tricks to attempt to stop us from proceeding or winning. Here are some notorious examples from some beloved games Solaire: Dark souls one mimics are very easy to find you can just look at the chain. If it's a circle, it's a real chest, if it goes straight, then it's a mimic. Even then you can just attack every chest you see before opening it if you didn't know about the chain thing. In Dark Souls 2 there is a shortcut in no man's warf that takes you STRAIGHT tho the boss fight with maybe 3-4 enemies and you will walk for not even a minute before you get to the ship with the boss

So I would like to mention that in one of the Mario kart game u was in first o. rainbow road and i was about to get hot by a blue shell and just before it hit i made a short cut where i went off the map just long enough to get to the other side of track and i glitched the blue shell and actually dodged the blue shell, to this day it is still one of my most cherished accomplishments, and the look on the faces of the people I was playing with were priceless

Another example of rubber banding is in street racing games or open world games where you tread both sides of the law: the cops' crown vics from the last century and their chargers can somehow keep up with a Lamborghini or other performance car. Like, I've put in hours of work to get the best car in the game, and the devs still allow a broken down car from the 70s to slam into my side constantly just because it has flashy lights on top.

Gran turismo was exposed for having Cheating AI. If you upgrade your car, they will also upgrade your car. The AI will play aggressive, smart and somehow be boosted so you cannot pass them. In later games like GT 5 - 7, you have to pay for damages, so imagine AI ramming your expensive, premium car into a wall and digitally laughing away as you have to suffer giving the shit series of a game more time to waste.

back in my childhood there was a game Command and Conquer Red Alert.. AI cheats like a mo fo.. they got unlimited resources, and it makes it to where your units dont defend unless the enemy gets real close.. so unless you move in and attack, the AI just takes sucker punches at you picking off your units one by one. so annoying

Unlimited Ressources in strategy Games.
Played Heroes of Might and Magic on the Gameboy (emulator on my Phone, still better than those Crap Games).
I wiped a CPU out and besieged a City and that one spawned every Turn the hardest expansive Creatures.
I could not destroy this Cheater and gave up the Game.

people needed a guide to know how to attack the ghosts in New Londo? do people not reed flavor texts or listen to dialogue? the item you need to use to attack them literally explains what it is and what it is used for and they give you like 3 when you enter the area lmao

Rome Total War legendary AI has to be in this video, especially their raiding mechanic. They always know range of your armies and always position so you can't get to them in one turn. AI cheats in Rome in other ways too but this one makes me sick.

Mario kart rubberbanding is the absolute worst. Had a dominant lead and was on a straight away to the finish line and got hit like 3 different times before I could move 5 ft by unavoidable attacks. At the very least make that feature optional.

I was pretty sure that you would talk about Total War : Warhammer 2 for the strategy games. The AI got a lot of advantages to be able to compete with the player. Some of them even makes no sense. The most absurd one is the dwarf.
