10 LONGEST Single Player Experiences of 2022 Chris: I ve tried the tactical games like Excom and such. : I just don t feel like I m playing the game. I get bored. which is funny that I love Until dawn, the Quarry, house of ashes etc. I feel like I m playing the game more in those with the control of the character with the quick time that s done well. am I the only one that feels this way about tactic games?

I finally started playing Elden Ring around Thanksgiving almost 2 months ago. I have 200 hours logged and I still have not finished. I think I have yet still one region to unlock on map before I can finish it. But at the rate I keep dying even at level 100, I have a feeling its going to take me another 100 hours before I can beat it. One thing is for certain, when I do finish I have absolutely no desire to play it again. I have been tortured enough, although I think I have been very thorough with exploring.

It s funny once upon a time you d see a game has hundreds of hours of content and you thought that s some bang for your buck and you can keeping whittling away on it over the summer or maybe the entire year but now it feels like a heavy noose. The ideal now feels like I would play ten decent ten hour games over one that last a hundred.

Old game but just got a next gen update in late 2022 and that is Witcher 3 and its long, especially with dlcs. Was great playing through again and experiencing some of the epic & funny quests plus the new added quest with the new forgotten wolves set from The Witcher TV series was a fun quest. The new witcher set is also pretty damn OP.

This game didn't come out in 2022, but I did play and beat it in 2022, so I'm counting it for myself. It's Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition, and I spent over 120 hours in it. I still haven't completed all the DLC and I have no intention of 100%-ing the game. Definitely a lot of bang for one's buck in that package.

I have put around 500hours on Elden Ring, am near max level and have done like 10 or 11 new game+. Probably my second most played even though it come out like November was GOW Ragnarok. 2022 was a good year for games. Looking forward to Hogwarts legacy, Starfield, Zelda BTOW 2 and others.

There's also no voice acting period in Harvestella, the only voice lines you get from are in boss fights and simply approaching certain NPCs you hear a bit of dialogue but there are basically no voice acting even in the most important parts of the game, I. E MSQ moments

I ended up putting 111 hours into one playthrough of Atelier Sophie 2. I managed to get all of the achievements for it too.
But I tend to find it hard to stop when you get the full alchemy capabilities and I end up having a lot of fun making overpowered things.

If I love the game and I don t buy games I won t usually. I spend the time searching everything and trying to do everything myself. I will spend 100-200 hours on first play through. The next play throughs are shortened bc of it, while still doing everything.

While not in this list, Dying Light 2 took me about 4-5 months (I have a limited play schedule, though) and 108-something hours to clear it (according to the end-of-game stats, however on a completionist run which I'm pretty sure that it wasn't 100%.

There's no way it takes 60 hours to beat V rising. I'm 70 hours in and still haven't capped out my character. Me and my 2 friends have been going hard at resource gathering and haven't been able to get enough supplies to make the last gear set

Long single player games are always a treat, it is nice playing a game where you can finish it at your own pace every once in awhile instead of a game where you revive your teammates that went down, those are still good too though lol

Nice video big haired boss
I haven't played any of these games.
1. Because I like shorter games as I don't have the time since I work so much.
2. None of them interest me in the slightest. Except Horizon Forbidden West.
