I renewed my Premium membership earlier this year. This may be something of a forlorn hope, but I hope they walk this back. Either that, here's hoping more features will be added that make this price hike worth it. If the price is the same at my next renewal without any significant additions to the service, I plan subscribing to a lower tier. This one of the dangers of an entity being the market leader and it serves as another reminder of why competition is always a good thing in this regard.

Sony should have considered themselves lucky people were willing to pay the 60 tier. They're getting carried away now with that disgusting price increase. If they had announced a lower tier such as 40 for a year of online access with no games attached then that would be more acceptable. Pc players don't have to deal with this even Nintendo online subscription is far cheaper. Hopefully Playstations community stands their ground for once

I'm done with both Xbox and PlayStation. Jacking the prices up and taking away games and bonus iteams. I don't need either one of this is the way the gameing going to go then the next collapse is all on them and they deserve to go out of business for turning into crooks because they have dinosaur people in charge who do not know what a good game is. Ryan and Spencer are both useless hacks who don't understand gamers

There is justification for price increase due to inflation but a 33% is just being greedy. But it does go with PlayStation s current less is more strategy they are going for. Less games released, a Dualsense controller with a screen on it for cloud gaming that REQUIRES a ps5 to even use, and now higher priced subscription model with nothing new added to justify the massive increase.

I'm one of those people that are not happy and are upset about Sony increasing the price of PS Plus, I think the prices are ridiculous. I've already been contemplating what I was going to do for my subscription for this next year and this definitely doesn't help. Sony, just like the majority of other companies let greed creep in and it's unfortunate.

If they do something with the money, like more title acquisitions for the catalog I am all for it.
Also weve been spending the same price for many many years, eventually inflation does have to come into play.
And the games have been pretty shitty for a while for the free catalog for basic so Im hoping to get something worthwhile again

People should really stop wasting their money on gaming subscriptions in general. its like 17 dollars a month when you could just buy on sale or a used for like 20
By giving sony/microsoft money every month all your doing is making them richer while hurting yourself and the developers by taking away sales.

7: 40 - I hope this update to Cyberpunk 2077 finally fixes the game. Seriously, it's almost three full years and it's still a buggy mess. It's plagued with glitches and crashes. So DLC? I'll think about it after the game can go a single session without crashing.

Ppl are unsubbing like crazy and some like me are even leaving for PC. Sony doesn t have much to offer anymore. They keep tossing their games on PC and now making me pay more to play online on top of 70 game titles? Yeah no. Bye Sony.

Spent 100 on starfield and it was the was the best decision ever lol.
Glad I got rid of PSN and just play on pc now.

This is why I love my Steam account, no more for anything outside of game purchases. Just like hollyweird, as much as we enjoy them. we don't need them. I have a backlog that I could play till I'm dead fuq greedy corps.

i cancelled my ps+ immediately. i originally had ps now so i went straight into premium and downgraded that to extra not that long ago. thought extra was a good deal and now i m questioning the value of ps+ as a whole

It's funny how, as soon as I heard about the guy selling starfield early in Tennesse I knew it was here in Memphis. Would've got away with it if he had just sold them on craigslist. I know I would've bought a copy.

There's no reason for the psplus price to increase considering this is digital. There's no such thing as inflation when it comes to this. I think this will be my final year. This is just disgusting jewie greed.
