I personally loved both miles morales and the spiderman ps4, the extra stuff never got boring to me, since thats basically being a spider hero in NYC, and i think what jake says about the small cons here and there are good, but Insomniac has a formula, and comes with the saying if it aint broke, dont fix it. Got my preordered good and ready, cant wait love you jake

I feel reviewers get turned off more by these direct sequels versus regular consumers because they play soo many games they put a lot of value on a feeling of new. Not Jake per say but I ve noticed some reviewers are docking the game because it feels familiar, while someone like me is more excited to play it because I know how much I liked the other games.

I love how Insomniac keeps pushing out industry leading visuals and multiple games faster than everyone else.
They give us RT, VRR, 4K, high FPS, and all that is implemented around great gameplay and story. All studios should take note.
Xbox should take a coffin because they are getting buried by Sony quality.

I remember about vial with sand from first game, he said that opening it will free sandman. Good thing they didn't forget about it, good idea to add him in here. Thou i don't really like the idea about wings and fast travel immidiatly anywhere.

If this game branches out to the Spider-verse and we fight the Inheirtors in future titles, Imma lose my mind but this sounds like a banger and can't believe we're also getting a Wolverine title by Insomniacs within a few years

I never understood the appeal of Spider-Man with armed with the obscene array of gadgetry and tech and f'n legs spawning out of his back. Anything besides a few basic web upgrades. canon or not, it doesn't do anything for me.

Man this looks great so happy for Insomniac for this some of those venom actions wow if they could do that with Venom, imagine what they could do with my all time favorite bad guy CARNAGE. I hope he's in Spiderman 3.

Spider-Man ps4 is up there as one of my top 3 favorite games of all time. Have played through a solid 6 times. Bought a steam deck just to have it portable. I would be more than fine with MJ sections being cut scenes

I'm sad that I can't play it now because I don't own a PS5 yet, like I didn't owned a PS4 when the first game was released, but at least I can play the first one and Miles Morales while I save to buy a PS5

Kind of disappointing that they brought back the MJ sections but I trust your judgement that they are slightly better this time around. I hope they aren't as many as in the first game.

It looks like we still arent able to have spider mans reflections visible on those windows. The ray tracing is great but climbing a wall and not seeing yourself is kinda jarring
