Fyi about Project Awakening for those who arent update to date
The game is being developed side-by-side with its game engine, Cyllista Game Engine, so Cygames could use it for future projects. I wouldnt be surprised if they start showing ray-traced lighting in the future
Also Jake, Arc System Works did Granblue Versus, and you completely forgot about Granblue Relink released 2 months ago.

No, obsidian isn't making Skyrim. It's uniquely different, proceeds to describe Skyrim.
I don't mind. I don't think Bethesda has what it takes to make Elder Scrolls 6 good, so I'm open to new challengers.
In the meantime, I'll keep playing Dark Souls, The Sims, City Tycoon, and Gwent in Skyrim, courtesy of the Skyrim Modding Community.

Dragon’s dogma have one of the best most fun gameplay of any game I have play I hope lots of future games use similar style because there’s nothing like it out there but we all know that this director knows how to make a good combat style since is the same guy of devil may cry 5.

Feels like half these games are just fancy graphics trailers with no expected release date hoping some other big studio picks it up based on hype. I bet most of them will be delayed to 2025 or never released. Big RPG with crazy graphics often times lack the actual role playing and story

I'm hopeful Avowed will live up to itself. I don't want it to one up Skyrim, I just want it to be a good game where the combat is smooth enough to not be considered too janky, and quests that build the world out of PoE with good rpg decision making, choices, and combat builds.

Really curious how Crimson Desert and Where Winds Meet pan out. Both of these seem to be aiming to do for this gen what The Witcher 3 did last gen, being quite ambitious with their open-world systems, while setting up a core narrative with a defined protagonsit role.

This list is just an excuse to talk more about KCD2. I AM SO EXCITED!
You said it had a cult following and yes, I am one of the cultist. KCD was the most immersive game I have ever played and I can't wait to play the sequel.

What I'm getting from this video is that I need a pc hardly any of these are coming to xbox, at least with its initial release. It's a shame too, I've been with xbox since the original and now, they're just letting me down

I Wish somebody would make Stallion/Mare centaur Midi evil game. If look up centaur. Hardly anybody make good centaur game or has decent centaurs in game. Elder scroll did at one time but they been forgotten about.

Oof. Unless you're attached to a big IP, I don't think a medieval action-rpg is a great idea.
It's very easy to get lost in the sea of identical clones.
I don't even remember the names of the first 3 games.

Kingdom come deliverance, ghotic 1 remake, pax dei and kinstrife, the rest is trash with fantasy monsters and magical powers you know. That trendy taste nowadays are getting horrible and horrible
reply

Currently playing kingdom come deliverance. Didnt enjoy it when it came out in 2018, tried over the years to play again but only the last month ive managed to really enjoy the game its brilliant
reply

Witchfire would somewhat fit in this list, its been in EA since 2023 but its a medival themed witchhunter roughe-lite fps that is insanely fun and can get pretty challenging
reply

Kingmakers looks like someone saw Army of Darkness and decided Hey, lets make a game about present guy gets teleported in to medieval times and flexes his boomstick.

I hate that I am not interested in Medieval game. There's a lot to play, people seems to enjoy them, but for me most of the games on this list for me looked the same.

I’m so excited for dragon age! inquisition was my first dragon age game n I didn’t even finish it. But I’m goin back to it this year(hopefully) to finish it

Kingdom Come Deliverance only 2 thing I remember of it, good game but a massive cliffhanger. Just when the game and story is getting good it ends. Cant wait for sequel.
reply

love seeing Principal Steinbeck return. The fact that Cody being in kindergarten is an arc reminds me of Junior going to summer school which was also an arce 0: 01
reply

Kingmakers looks insane, I'm also excited for Kingdom come deliverance 2, Elden Ring shadow of the erdtree and Avowed. Manor lords has been fun too.
