Hey it's nathan here. I'm a big fan of your guys work and I appreciate you tuning in. Hope you had a great day and this is gonna be a long one so strap in. Just to preference I was a huge fable fan and told myself back when Xbox and PlayStation released the last generation that I wouldn't buy an Xbox one or PlayStation 5 until fable 4 release as it would be the determining factor on how I was going to decide what console I would choose. Well here I am today just in regret over all the good PlayStation games and debating witch of these videos I should actually watch because I don't want to spoil certain games. Can you believe I've never played the new Spider-Man games PlayStation has put out banger after banger and I've missed all of this. Even the new halo dropped and still I didn't budge for I was just determined (and well had a switch so that pacified my time) but what now PlayStation 5 time wait till GTA 6 comes out for that PS5 pro is my thoughts. I just had to share this story as I remember thinking fable 4 would launch and some how would catch the same manic it did back when it first came out

Yeah the helldivers stuff is NOT going to fly, they WILL lose their players both from frustration and literally from them being unable to play. MANY countries make it tougher to make and have a psn account, and on top of that there are MANY MANY more countries that just simply do not have access to be able to make an account(something like psn is banned or not available in those countries, forget exactly.
This game relies on a community and they are about to lose 66 million players if I am not mistaken, at minimum(these are those who cannot make an account. Plus steam is now making it refundable and reviews are tanking everywhere. This funnily enough is at the request of arrowhead themselves, they do not like this either.
Please if you own the game, leave a negative review, refund, or express disdain in anyway you can so we can save this awesome game. Because if nothing changes the game will die, there is not if, ands, or buts to it. Do it for DEMOCRACY!

Bruh I have no interest in playing any elder scrolls games or fallout games till they move past the creation engine, 12 years ago it was solid but now its embarrassing because half the reason they have gotten away with using it so long is the modding community is always there to pick up the slack but even they are fed up because they spend countless hours developing mods just for the dev team to add a 12mb update that does nothing. Starfield is a beautiful example of oh its just fallout in space and most people saying it don’t mean it as a complement. This company has unlimited praise because they gave us Skyrim but years later it feels like that guy that played football in college before an injury but he constantly brings up his football days because there’s nothing else for him to bring to the table

Xbox need to do a Sony and pay for exclusives, they can’t be nice and fair’ hoping not to get a monopoly lawsuit. Sony has been paying studios for exclusives for decades. A couple of things not mentioned in relation to hardware sales. 1) yes hardware sales have declined but this only takes into account new hardware. 2) used hardware sales have increased, meaning more people are buying 2nd hand hardware rather than paying a premium for new.
3) Microsoft are making $300 million every month from GamePass now, they’ve hoovered up all the Indy developers they could lay there hands on and have minimised there production costs on hardware manufacturing as GamePass can be used on almost any device so why do they need to produce the hardware, especially when your making more from a subscription service that there is minimal overheads for other than data centre’s.

you cant tell me that the priceing of the games and the hardware are not lossing customers as it it clearly is.
what good is all the tek and inovation in games if so many people cant afford it and the prices are not ever going down and will only go up, they are priceing themselfs out of the market.
i baught my PC 10 years ago when i was working, now i am retiired i cant afford to even upgrade my GPU, so far i have been able to play the latest games but only by lowering the settings and its just a matter of time when even that is not going to cut it.
food, rent, electric and gas have riased by 30-40 percent a rise i have not seen in my lifetime and i am 68.
we are being gouged big time and we are putting up with it.

How is Xbox in third place in console war Xbox Series X is way more powerful than PS 5 that's a fact. This is not like how Xbox One was with PS 4 so do people think Playstation is still a better console Are they dumb Plus Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is amazing, you get the best games for free for 18 bucks a month and on top of that you get Microsoft Rewards which can pay for most of that on its own so you get the entire gaming experience for free basically and on a much better hardware. So it brings me back to this, do people only care about The Last of Us, Uncharted and Spider Man now days! Because that's all you get with PlayStation nothing more, nothing less.

I have no serious console allegiance but I don't like that Sony is getting an even stronger sort of monopoly on certain aspects of the gaming industry. Maybe that's just because of the money grubbing recent decisions they have made such as the large price increase of just online connectivity, remasters of pretty recent games, the leaning into of more live service games, just as a few examples.
Nintendo is kind of an island so they are happy just doing their own thing, but without Xbox at least trying to catch up to the playstation, in my OPINION, having Sony feel even more in control will only hurt the consumer more in the end, but that's just my 2 cents

It doesn't matter if Xbox sells consoles because they are still selling at a loss and Starfield wouldn't be a system seller because you can play it via Game Pass Ultimate day one and you didn't need an Xbox to play the game. 5: 52 Bigger marketing budget because it was published by Sony Nioh and Nioh 2 were also published by Sony. Who would have thought Todd Howard would want more Fallout games They don't want to take so long to create games Damn, How buggy will those games turn out What do I want out of a new Elder Scrolls game A game that doesn't require 50 patches and runs at least at 85% polished.

WB is continuingly dropping the ball with DC. it's not brain science making Arkham Origins sequel. they could make multiple games between Origins and Asylum yet they choose, as if deliberately, to go in the most opposite direction. i'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, they're pushing for VR to see how much people are interested in getting a full-pledged Batman game again, but the way they're doing it is gonna bury it instead. yeah i want another Arkham game, but no, i will not buy a fecking VR set just to tell them that. just make Origins sequel already for feck sake.

As an xbox player it sucks that xbox is going out with a whimper instead of a bang. Phils loser mentality is so disappointing to see. Xbox series has less features than the xbox one just more games. There was actually a sense of community during the early years of xbox one with the community feed and clip editor and being able to see your friends clips. Now all that is gone. I still prefer now just because i like having more games, but there is a big void missing from the xbox one era that brought players together.

All Microsoft has wanted for at least a decade is to get to the point where their gaming platform’ is merely an app on smart TVs, PCs, and other devices, with a cloud streaming subscription service being the ONLY option to play their games.
They might release another piece of hardware, but it will probably be for local storage and MAYBE digital-only purchasesat the start. They just want to destroy the concept of ownership in general, like so many others at the very top of the Late Stage Capitalism pyramid.

Current game development atmosphere seems like Hollywood coming out of the 80s. The Hollywood focus switched to putting out less movies from less studios with massive budgets. We ended up getting less movies and the ones we got were hit or miss. Don’t squeeze out the little studios video game industry. You need to keep our interest peaked with robust amount of releases or you will just lose us. Can’t wait half a decade between releases.

I don't know where to put this, but for the last few weeks, it seems like every interesting game that you guys mention isn't on any of the consoles. For the last few weeks, all of the interesting games have been on Steam or Windows, or maybe they're both the same. I'm not sure how that works nowadays because i've never used Steam. I'm not necessarily opposed to it, I just haven't gotten around to using it yet. Just sayin'.

While you can lie when you make the account, you will permanently be on the edge of getting the whole account suspended

Thanks Jake! Thankfully, still Completely lost in New Vegas! Taking a quick break to replay Titanfall 2 this weekend. Plus, just picked up all the other Fallout games when the sale dropped with the show. Not to mention so many games I own that I have never played like Prey, Shadow of Mordor and AC: Black Flag. all saving me from dropping $80 - 100 to play a new game that is likely a buggy mess.

I really wanted to go for Xbox this generation because I have been very done with Sony's arrogance and unwanted interference with games for many years already, but Microsoft completely dropped VR so PS5 and the PSVR2 was my go to choice for an affordable yet good looking VR experience.
PS5 also has much better exclusives that I actually want to play.

Microsoft being third have long since been putting their games on other consoles and platforms.
Sony has seemingly hit a ceiling so they're exploring putting their games on other platforms, mainly PC.
And Nintendo is wanting to make their next console as successful as the Switch.
Everything is shaky and in flux.

I think Xbox is just a sign of the console market in general. Consoles really haven’t seen growth in generations. Younger kids are more likely to be playing on mobile and PC, I think what’s going on with Xbox is just a sign of the market slowly shrinking some as mobile, PC, and, to a smaller extent, cloud all start to grow.
