here's an idea, how about stock holders and CEO's leave devs from all these different companies alone in the kitchen too cook so we get new original games ill say it extra loud WE DONT NEED ANYMORE REMAKES OR REMASTERS EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU TRY YOU HORRIBLY BREAK THE GAMES i can only think of three remakes that were actually good resident evil 2/3 and final fantasy 7 remake; every other remake i've play has been BOR (broken on release) and every remaster i've played every single time either has things missing that made the tone of the game better or functions removed in the failing hope to update it for modern systems when they port it over that had some other function attached to it that gets removed as well which breaks the game a perfect example the gta definitive addition

Not gonna lie, this State of Play had me feeling like Sony is moving towards predatory sales methods. With just Monster Hunter Wilds being the only new game I actually care to even pick up, it's like they've found a time to ride on their laurels rather than step up the quality and integrity of their games. It's like Pokemon syndrome for Nintendo. Where they have a good thing and they think they can just get by pushing that thing until they realize they actually can't and the company is in dire straits because of it. I feel like they're aware that Xbox is going to be backing off the console wars and Nintendo isn't really competition in comparison. Honestly, how else do we explain the $800 PS5 Pro

- makes new controller covers and makes them unavailable for ps5 holders - there should be a reason
- announces PS5 Pro for 700$ with very little improvements, without even a disk drive - hmm
- announces remasters of Horizon ZD (2017) and Days Gone (2019) - for absolutely no reason.
I'm not sure sony's decisions at this point have any reasoning behind. Or perhaps they made a bet with Ubisoft to see who could create the biggest media scandal in a year (while Nintendo is having fun suing another game developer that dared to use basic game mechanics )

I love HZD, but I am not gonna buy it a third time, when I got the original AND the PC version. Like, this feels more like a money grab than an actual proper remaster, and I am a bit ashamed by your gushing over it. They have TONS of games they could remaster, THAT NEED THEM, and this was not one of them, period. They need to give the devs space to actually build more content for the current game, give it more than a single great expac, or just give it time to breath so that when HZD 3 comes out, it blows us away. They have the VR experience, HZD, HFW, HZD on PC. it may end up a joke like Skyrim, being released on toasters and fridges.

Zero Dawn isn’t a good PS3 game, it’s a PS4 game. The way he was talking you would think he was talking about Uncharted 2!
Comparing Zero Dawn to its remaster, it’s like comparing 4K to 8K! Is 8K better Yes. But 4K looks so damn good it makes any improvements look dismissible. The original Zero Dawn doesn’t look good, it’s goddamn gorgeous! And yes, they are releasing a $10 upgrade, but honestly, even that is unneeded and unnecessary. ngl zero dawn is a mid game. the story progresses very slow and is not interesting, NPCs are bland, boring dialogues and repetitive combat. The always hostile outside world and lack of a permanent ride encourages more fast travel which btw is also given in limited number until later. No autosave in freeroam is also incredible for a modern game. Although, I liked the gameplay mechanics especially the enemy AI and how enemies react. Not enough to remain hooked. Will only impress people who prioritize graphics over everything else.

I'm actually sad how basic the Soul Reaver stuff is. The original SR (not really 2) was an absolutely masterpiece of atmosphere and world design. Truly incredible. It deserves more than an upscale. Yes, they improved some textures, but not even all of them. I want it to look fresh, but it still looks very, very old.
Still, I will support the franchise, but make no mistake: it deserves much, much better.

Most all these games look excellent to me. However my heart sinks whenever I hear souls like. As an older person with significant vision impairment I can not complete games with a high level of difficulty without difficulty or other significant controls to make the game playable for me. That all said, I prefer story driven games so gams like Elden Ring have little appeal. I just wish developers did not make what it seems like a conscious choice to exclude gamers like me

Like Every Other NPC Aloy Talked To Expressed Romantic Feelings Toward The Main Character. Hell One Or 2 Straight Asked Aloy For Her Hand In In Marriage And Then There Was No Response To Those Feelings. In Fact They Seemed To Be Deliberately Ignored. It Pissed MeOff So Much I Didn't wanna Play Any Of The Sequels

Simple answer. $ony wants you to ditch your launch console, and buy a slim or a pro. They know that people will do it. as one guys trades in and upgrades to a pro. the. a guy who couldn't afford to get into a system can get a used one. and then can buy the new games a an online membership. And that is why they aren't making the new skins or whatever they are called for the original systems.

They should make a ghost of Japan with the hole story of miyamoto musashi, his hole story isn't fully known because he was travelling all over Japan, and they could make the story go two ways go the samurai way like his original or make a new future with his ghost version with stealth and other stuff. That would be game I bet everybody would buy.

I’ve also been praying for a soul reaver remake so glad their doing the remaster, and I’m also looking forward to control 2. Control I only played recently my god what a good game so enjoyable. So I guess all is well with the world, except playing games straight from nightmares great video really enjoyable falcon.

I'd say, If PS is not manufacturing the PS5 launch edition anymore, and it's clearly not willing to support its modding community, well, there are other companies that will find their niche within the ecosystem. It should be open season for other companies to produce what the market clearly needs. Just saying.

I think there's a large amount of people that regard souls-like to just be about the controls and not about the story or composition, like Metroidvania and roguelike style games, might be what they mean when calling Hell is Us a souls like, from the looks of it it could have very souls like controls.

I am so looking forward to hitman on PSVR. My headset had been collecting dust since release almost, and then when it broke, it just became a expensive paperweight. After seeing that hitman trailer, I’m already waiting for Sony to send me that box to ship it back in for the warranty. I can’t wait!

Say what you want about the console covers, but the idea is genius. Don't like the white covers Swap em out. Tired of the color you picked a few years ago Swap em out. Just want your PS5 to look new again You get the idea.
Now excuse me, I have to go decide what of the new options I like best.

DW9 was so disappointing.
The world was so empty and boring, and they changed quite a bit of the english voice cast.
It could of been such a great game (especially if they made an empires version, where you can make your own character) if they had put the time and effort into it.

No falcon we do not want to see Sony remaster more games. We want them to make new IPs like they used to instead of remastering old games constantly that have a few changes here and there. Sony needs to get a grip or their gna fall just like xbox did back in 2013-14with weird decisions

I can't believe people ar defending another female protagonist. There's is nothing wrong with it. I liked aloy and kay vess and cassandra but why does every freaking game needs to be female is beyond me. Stop defending this nonsense and be a man again. Thank god for warhammer
