I kinda like Forspoken as a whole. What i dont like about it is the equipment. I outright hate that, also the chests etc. almost worthless to discover them or more like opening up etc. cause that kinda material is everywhere those puzzle boxes are ok, some rarer shit there but those ordinary ones is just bs. WHat they shouldve done is make the game kinda like a looter shooter, or diablo etc. meaning LOOT, spice up things. Like it is now its more of an exploration game then anything else.
And yes i just got to playing it.
Had a lot of catching up to do.
Reason being old HW and couldnt run the games i wanted to play.
Now i have the HW to run the games so im playing them steadely one after another.
Its a nice list. I already finished quite a few or lot it depends what u consider a lot or few.
Anyway still a lot to catch up on and finish them or not. Also i tried to avoid watching videos about those games. Gameplays, reviews etc.
Just so avoid as much spoiler as possible. Working so far.
Anyway i dont believe Forspoken need or must have a sequel even though i kinda like it or more like it then not. On the other hand Titanfall, Dishonored or Days Gone should get one someday.
Even Dead Space. Almost forgot to mention.

This just proves that game companies would rather waste literal millions on trying to make the next Fortnite or Apex Legends instead of spending that money on creative new games or sequels (cough cough days gone 2) that fans really want or directors are clearly asking for. They have the love and passion for the industry and the big companies are missing out on all of that. If they spent all that money on developers who are begging for sequels or interesting new IP's they could easily make back their money instead of churning out constant shitty live service games. Or if a game doesn't do well, try and fix it like how Cyber Punk or No Man's Sky put the effort in and not just dissolve the company.

Imagine not letting a company do what they are good at. Like imagine telling toilet paper companies to make plastic products and then getting mad they didnt deliver. Theyre already equipped with knowledge and technology to make toilet paper, let them be. Arkane got absolutely shafted.
Also, parent companies complaining about not making at least 200% profit dont understand they are single handedly ruining the gaming industry. Theyre pushing all the wrong things for npthing more than to make another dollar. These games arent making our rich investors even more rich! Wont you think of these people who care nothing about the product and the community!

PlayStation has been really bad when it comes to not greenlighting sequels cuz it didn't perform good enough.
Sly Cooper 4: Thieves in Time apparently didn't sell well enough, that Sanzaru Games had a full Egypt DLC episode ready to go (all of this coming from an interview with Kinda Funny Games years ago) that possibly resolved that cliffhanger ending! Unfortunately, Sony being Sony, that DLC, and by extension a Sly 5, never came to fruition.
Days Gone, according to David Jaffe, as soon as Shawn Layden left Sony Days Gone was dead. And is the most likely reason why a sequel never got beyond the pitching phase.

You said fans been wanting a days gone 2. But why do they deserve one They did nothing but whine and complain about the game when it came out. They in didnt even give it a chance to fix the bugs and mistakes. Everyone just cried about it. Then years later when I'm it was free. Millions uppon millions of people downlaoded it and loved it. Yea they loved it was free. But they didnt gice a shit about it or support it before. I did though. I bought a copy release day. The game was fantastic and it sucks we dont get a second ine cusse of whiny ahh losers. The devs had everyright to be pissed and lash out lol

From what a lot of alleged Sony Insiders have stated, Days Gone 2 was halted by Sony America & Naughty Dog as they didn't want another in house Zombie game competing against The Last of Us. As the Studio was working on Days Gone 2 & they were forced to pivot to other games to not hurt Sony America's Favorite Child at the time (that favorite child being Naughty Dog. As for Force Unleashed 3. Disney pretty much killed all hopes of that game ever coming out. Especially with all the pre-Disney Comics, Books & Games surrounding the Prequel & Original Trilogy being Decanonized.

Damn Days Gone was killed off by it's starting gameplay when you're all about stealth and you're killing more people than zombies but it does get better if you stick with it and halfway through the game is when the true game starts.
Sleeping Dogs on the other hand is a mixture of GTA for it's open world and Yakuza for it's brawl. It's like playing a more serious Yakuza game in the perspective of the Triads. You can really feel how scary these gangs are vs GTA which makes gangbanging like a normal everyday occurrence and kills immersion.

Man, I don't even understand why they made such an investment in making Forspoken! to me, it's just absolutely not appealing in terms of the story or what the story seems like it would be and the character you play as and her actual character. the gameplay on the other hand that I seen looked like it might be kind of fun, but either way to create a game that appeals to the smallest portion of gamers is kind of dumb when you're a game development company trying to make as much money as humanly possible.

Days gone is one of the most underrated games of the PS4 generation. The horde mechanic was genre defining. It had a great if not somewhat predictable story but with genuinely interesting characters with realistic and relatable motivations, people surviving anyway the know how, from the brutal work camp to the more liberal lifestyle. Then the twist at the end setting up a sequel they never came. It deserved a sequel, that would no doubt surpassed the original.

A lot of these boil down to the studio realised they could make far more money working on live service slop so they abandoned single player titles.
Game Devs (or at least publishers) got far too greedy, they saw the success some studios were having with games with micro transactions and decided that was where they wanted to focus their development.
It's also the reason all these studios are now dying and gamers aren't shedding any tears.

The Force Unleashed was amazing and the 2nd part was also very enjoyeable - its a pity there was no 3rd game on next gen. - another PS3 masterpiece not making it to the PS4 era.
I wonder if there will be a 3rd Jedi game with the greed of EA Games.
Another series I loved playing and which disappeared was RESISTANCE. 3 installments on PS3, then one on PS Vita and thats it.
Or Lost Planet which also died with the end of the PS3.

Game Companies are really destroying the dreams of Game devs who really wants to create a great game. They dont need to give a game team a large amount of funds they can do it a hefty amount of money specially if they are really passionate about it. The video game vlogging industry is destroying the gaming world today they all just want a Fortnite game because it generates views for Vloggers.

titanfall
just remake t1 & t2 in a hd bundle with all the current-day ray tracing and shizzle. instant banger
just, for once, copy Call of Duty, and admit THOSE games were excellent and just remake them, milk the customer!
i'd buy it. i loved the original, the titan falls were so impactful, and game changing to some matches. not so much t2, but, it was a more polished game, i see that

One of the biggest problems with the gaming industry is the greed. To turn down great single player games because they can't make billions instead of millions is ridiculous. Not every game has to be some online multiplayer with never ending micro transactions. People need to stop spending money on skins and in game currency so maybe we can go back to having great games again.

Marvel midnight suns seems to also be under this umbrella as it underperformed, which is a shame i loved that game, and xcom 3 also seems to be under this umbrella but for a different reason, i think the studio is scared that they can't outdo xcom 2 so they won't even do it i hope i'm wrong on this as xcom 2 is my favorite game and i am desperare for a 3

Let's be honest Sleeping dogs wasn't great. The shooting mechanics were flimsy, the fighting gameplay was glitchy and basic, and the driving mechanics were just awful & slidey (worse than GTA IV. Granted, the storyline was pretty decent but if they really tightened up all the gameplay mechanics and made them precise, it could've been a great game.
reply

The problem with TF2 is that they had the BRILLIANT idea to release it the same weekend as at least a couple of other blockbusters (I didn't care about them, but I suppose others did.
And I really hope we get another Dishonored. If there's any franchise that can and should keep going, it's that one

reply

Honestly has square enix ever produced a game that didn’t under perform Sleeping dogs is a gem and is right there next to gta as far as gameplay goes. Fighting is better in dogs than gta. That game could be a banger if a big publisher purchased the rights to it. So unfortunate man.
reply

I'm not sorry but when you have an option in game to shut the characters up, your game has a problem. This game did this to itself
Forspoken was Square-Enix listening to an SBI style consultation to appeal to Americans and was the first to realize the DEI firms are dead wrong.
