Oh my, lucky you; D I was hoping they will release it for the PC, since I don't have a 360 anymore. I was really looking forward to play this one, even where the game had mixed reviews (sometimes, those -mixed- games are really great gems. Mainly because of this awesome and atmospheric design and music. And the game looks very immersive.
As you said, it reminds me of Another World or Oddworld's Abe's adventures, but in this, kind of depressing, post apocaliptic setting. Oh well, maybe someday.

They really haven't come out with anything recently that would make a good and unique video. Portal 2 is about the only recent game, and it's a story-driven puzzle game which makes for some pretty bland video in my opinion. There's CS: GO coming soon, but I really have never been a CS player so I don't have much interest in it. Same with DOTA2. As their older games, well, maybe someday but I don't have any immediate plans.

They're not though, so please don't treat them as such because they don't have any standards. Reviews take the entire game into account and are much more thorough, concise, and intentionally informative as to whether or not the game is worthwhile. LGR Plays videos are litetally nothing more than me playing a game unedited for twenty minutes or so and speaking what's on my mind in that moment.

You're comparing apples to oranges, those are object packs to a huge PC sandbox game and this is a full game on Xbox Live Arcade. As a full game experience, it falls short of being worth the money in my opinion. It's short, cliched, and often very aggravating. It's still worth playing though and I had a lot of fun in those few hours, but $15 can get you far better on XBLA.

The length isn't really that big of a deal; it's the horrific (pun intended) voice acting and story coupled together with a wholly uninspired and frustrating level design. Honestly the only good thing about this game is the art design, and that's not enough to save it from mediocrity.
Worst $15 I've ever spent.

It looks like a beautiful game and even if it does have a ropey script it definitely seems worth playing as it harks back to those great games of the nineties. I hope it eventually comes out on the PC as if it's download only I'd rather get it on Steam.

You should have lured teh zombie to the spike trap, then not having to take it with you down with the elevator.
The game looks lovely and I am sure I would enjoy it if I enjoyed playing platform/puzzle games. Which I don't.

Well, yes, they are. Try enjoying the gameplay without installing it. Obviously, they're useless at that point. It's not until you install the files into The Sims 3 that they are usable. Again, it's an expansion, not a game.

Thanks. When Clint said that it was 1-2 hours per episode and only 3 episodes. I was like hmmm so only 3-6 hours of game play yeah I don't feel like I'm missing out on a whole lot, money saved I guess. :)

Works for me! Of course, everyone in the game is a silhouette/shadowed, which arguably adds further ambiguous philosophical commentary. Especially when you take into account the protagonist's story (no spoilers here)
