I rewatch this particular play-through every single halloween, and probably like 4 times a year. Both you and Roses are just fun to listen too and it gives me great joy. This particular video cheers me up when i feel down and lonely. Please, Please, PLEASE! make more of these lets plays together. Id absolutely love to see you guys revisit the third and attempt to finish it, with hints if need be! (also, may i suggest a PUR/LGR playthrough of 'Transylvania''? was a personal fave of mine as my parents used to play it, and i think Roses picked it up once when you guys showed off some of your finds on a joint games run: )

I still come back and rewatch these videos every so often. The combination of Clint and Roses' voices is just really soothing, and something about the Last Half trilogy just keeps me coming back. Maybe it's all that eerie ambiance. -The only that-- the only that-- the only that--- makes me crack up every time.
Part of me wants to see Last Half remade so that it makes sense (I hear there's a remastered version, part of me thinks the weird typos and nonsense 'puzzles' (especially in parts 2 and 3) are part of its charm.

Man, I've been trying to remember what this game was called for so long! It scared the shit out of me when I used to play it as a kid. Especially the jarring sound effects during the encounters, massive juxtaposition between the no ambient sounds and then screeching bitcrushing encounters!
And so all this time all I had to do was search through your Let's Play clips to find it? Thanks Clint, this game had a serious Candle Cove vibe for me over the years, for a while I just thought I had imagined the whole thing.

I love this game. Way way back in the day when a video game could scare you (so I was a child) there was this room with the twins. You can't escape - if you click into that room you'll die
The thing though is that it goes from one frame of a really fast animation of them playing a clapping game, to murdering you with their scary blood soaked faces. Yeah I was scared. I won't lie.
Brings me back (I still have the game but don't play it any more)

Yes! Thanks to this, i was able to find a game with a similar visual style i had seen on mobygames, but forgot the name of. i always regretted not trying it because the visual style was interesting, i checked the developer of this game, and sure enough, they were also behind the game i was looking for: -The Romantic Blue-! :)

I remember when my dad brought home our first proper pc, before that all we had was an Amstrad! This game was on it and we all crowded around and played it all night! I even made an artwork about it in class when I was in year 3. Its safe to say my teacher was most likely extremely disturbed.

I first heard of this game at the age of 8 way back in 1996 when I had a CD called -Games FX-, which had about 300+ shareware games for DOS from all the major gaming companies of that time. I played this over and over and over until I beat it. and then ordered Parts 2 and 3. :)

Would you consider playing a game like Ib or The Witches House? If you don't know already, they're a jump-scare RPG kind of games, and it would be so cool if you played one or both of them with Roses. Watching you guys play The Last Half of Darkness reminded me of those games: )

Sucks you guys missed one of the best parts of the whole game: finding a girl in the upstairs bathroom, leaving the room to hear a scream and find her missing, then later seeing her skeleton in a downstairs closet. Haunted me for years!

It took them three years to make the next part. There's also a version with all three parts of the original trilogy in one with vastly upgraded graphics released in 2000. I guess it depends which style you want to laugh at.
