LGR - Thrifts [Ep. 18] Max Bullseye
video description
(I know this comment is like, two years after the video was posted, but I'm binging the series. Had no luck at our Goodwill today - looks like all of the electronics and higher ticket items have been moved online, what a bummer)

You can do some serious audio with ACID. It'll multitrack as good any program and does it in it's expanded way. An innovative program that spawned a bunch of variations by other companies. And the best part is the Sonic Foundry/Sony versions are the exact same UI as Vegas, Sound Forge, and such. Once you can navigate one of them efficiently, you can use the others with ease. :)

This series has been an inspiration to look out for bargain pc games. But there are some common traps i want to mention - the obvious empty cases aside, there are cases missing the handbook with the necessary serial number. Or in especially angering cases, the box only is a vehicle for steamkeys and someone activated that game for himself and sold the worthless dvdbox knowingly.

I have a dark gray version of the Altec-Lansing speakers given to me by a very dear old friend, who sadly died about 5 years ago, and the sound is pure perfection in terms of quality. The Sub-Woofer really unleashes the bass in many sounds and music. It may be near twenty years old, but it certainly has a much better sound quality than TODAY'S Bluetooth Speaker!

I have the portable TV at 2: 34, branded as a Sanyo. Interesting thing to mess around with. The joystick on the right at 1: 55 is a Logitech Attack 3 and it quite good, I've got two of them. It was the Attack 2's that sucked. Also, I have an Apple IIc copy of Chessmaster 2100 that I got in 1989. I have lots of old stuff, because I am old and geeky.

That Packard Bell you pictured was exactly the model of my first IBM compatible computer back when I was in the Navy in the early 90s. Before that I had an Amiga 500, a Commodore 64, and a TI 99/4A. And yes, I had one of those speakers, and used it for many years AFTER I got rid of the computer.

Hey mate, doubt it's interesting to you but I find this so relaxing. This is my relaxation time show. I have a huge energy level and it gets scary sometimes because I really struggle to relax, but you sir are a magic ticket to taking me away from the constant ever raging drive. Thank you

High Heat 2000! That was my favorite baseball game for years. I kept around an old Windows 2000 PC until probably 2012 or so just because HH2000 wouldn't run on WinXP. Think I still have the CD for it somewhere. might have to buy a $10 Goodwill junker PC and throw on Windows 2000.

So i could not help but laugh at the Typing tutor box. mainly because they made two letters sparkly. Made me think of Smokey & the Bandit. -Do the letters F. O. mean anything to you? - 1: 27 (yah I know. comment on 3 year old video. but still. funny as hell)

The Altec Lansing system you were looking at. I had that. I rescued it out of a garbage bin. Yes! I used to be a dumpster diver years ago. I once found a Mac Powerbook 144, fully functional, with power supply and 2 batteries. I used that laptop for 3 years.
