Yeah that whole urban legend surrounding the game basically sounds like a case of people still trying to pretend that Nintendo of America still has those old censorship policies, forgetting things like how Doom was released uncensored on the SNES no problem, and so were Mortal Kombats 2 and 3 (in fact the SNES ports of MK2 and 3 were better than the Genesis ports thanks to better controls alone, and that Nintendo themselves will publish M rated games of their own from time to time (like on Wii U with Bayonetta 2, Devil's Third, and Fatal Frame 5.
But anyway as for this game itself, I admit if I ever see it on sale on Steam for really cheap I'm just gonna go ahead and buy it for the novelty of it. I'm so strangely intrigued by certain types of -bad games- I will buy them just out of curiosity (I did this with Alien: Colonial Marines not long ago and actually want to do the same with Daikatana at some point.

-for 40 days and for 40 nights-?
the law was on her side
but who can stand
when she's in demand, her schemes and plans (oh no)
do the dance, on the floor, in the round baby
PEOPLE ALWAYS TOLD ME
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU DO
DON'T GO AROUND BREAKING YOUNG GIRLS' HEARTS
AND MOTHER ALWAYS TOLD ME, BE CAREFUL WHO YOU LOVE
and be careful what you do,
cause the lie becomes the truth! (hey-hey)
-Billie Jean is not my love-
She's just a girl
who thinks that
-I am the one-
But
The kid is not my son!

As a christian I remember seeing this game at a christian store and thought it looked so terrible. I mean I give any company props for trying to make a christian based game, but its not a market where you are going to make alot of money on. You either have christian parents who are strict and won't let their kids play games period. Or you have christian parents who let you play a good chunk of non-christian games, thus the kid of course is going to choose something else over this game.

Ever heard of Nitemare 3D? It's another game that used the Wolfenstein 3D engine but a much more interesting one since it didn't just copy the engine, it added some things like doors, stairs, combination safes, destructible walls and, in one level, a blackout. Obviously, cheaply emulated since it's not like the Wolf 3D engine is capable of all that much and it's not like they Rise of the Triad'ed it but an interesting game none the less.

I wonder if someone has combined these two games together:
Wolfenstein 3D + Super 3D Noah's Ark.
You'll fight both Nazis & angry animals and you can either feed them & make them sleep or shoot them with guns.
Also the story would be like weird merge of these both universe.

Actually, Noah's Ark might be an interesting concept for a resource management game. Keep all the animals and people alive and happy during the voyage, and possibly rewrite history by obtaining and rescuing animals people thought nonexistent.

I always thought Noah was trying to get all the excess animals off of the ark since it was supposed to be only two of each kind. If that is true, then he's essentially killing all those animals since just about everything dies during the flood.

heh. am I the only one amused by the fact this very game goes against the 10 commandments the developers market themselves as believing? (it's more or less theft (ie. bypassing nintendos legal rights.

Honestly I think it holds up a bit better than Wolf 3D nowadays. It feels like a middle ground between Wolf and Doom combat-wise and the wholesomeness in a 2. 5 D shooter is actually a nice change of pace
