There is this piece of software which was a huge assortment of screensavers, varying from the flying toasters to a rats race to this blob thingy. I think some of them were interactive if memory serves me right. anyway, I was wondering if you know what I'm talking about and if you've ever considered doing a quick review of it. I can't be the only one who spent a lot of time on what was considered entertainment, and was. you know. not?
Kinda like the -break your desktop- thing. which was actually more entertaining.

I wonder if this game is allegory for the treatment of people with Down Syndrome and how people with Down'd view the world. I've had the privilege of knowing many people with Down's and they (for the most part) very loving people who want nothing other than to bring happiness to others. Sadly people can be cruel and treat people with Down's poorly because they look different, or because they are an easy target and often will take the abuse.

Considering the player character and subject matter, Dropsy could've so easily been a full-blown dark comedy, but it wouldn't have left as much of an impact if it was. Even the creator himself admitted this in an interview with Playboy for their -Games for Adults- column, as it initially was supposed to be one, until he gradually grew as a person and instead decided to send a more-or-less positive message with it.

This is way off topic but I'm really curious, what do you think of the No One Lives Forever games? I just started playing them this week for the first time after seeing reviews for them by one of my favorite YTers and I'm really wondering why these games aren't typically mentioned among the greats in the classic FPS genre. I really feel like these games are absolute gems, I'm having a blast with them.

I just started playing them this week for the first time after seeing reviews for them by one of my favorite YTers and I'm really wondering why these games aren't typically mentioned among the greats in the classic FPS genre. I played this game as soon as it came out, the trailer video totally sold me. The soundtrack is really nice as you mentioned and also the color palette is beautiful. When Dropsy was sad, I was sad, but when Dropsy was happy I was also happy. I really enjoyed this game and I can't seem to get over it, I always find myself trying to find similar games to this one on Steam but nothing compares to Dropsy: c

I really dig how the developers decided to not include text in the game, and rather show emotions and plot points through animations, sound and various icons. So cool to see people experiment with different gameplay experiences. That, and you know. They also don't have to translate the game for an international release. Pros all the way! This game is an absolute gem: D

Great video Clint! Sorry but I had a question, and I couldn't find the answer on the internets but I know you will have the answer: I am trying to hook up an old floppy drive to a modern motherboard but I don't know how. I thought the floppy drive used IDE so I got an IDE to SATA adapter, only to learn that the floppy drive uses some other connection. What do I do?

I like that you're having to go around, and do nice things for people, but damn it man I wish I did not hate clowns so damn much. When I see them I just want to punch them in the face. I seriously blame Stephen King's miniseries IT, as that thing was just messed up on all kinds of levels when I saw it as a kid.

Surprisingly
I loved playing as a creepy clown trying to make people happy. The symbol only system was great too. It gave a surprisingly emotional narrative sometimes.
My only quibble is the ending is a bit abrupt. I was still reeling from what had happened to the animals at the circus.

I bought this game after watching the first episode of the Let's Play you did with Pushing Up Roses. I've never played a point and click adventure game 'til this one, and I'm so glad I tried it out. This is one of the most unique and charming games I've ever played.
