Imagine being a person of Asian descent who opens a restaurant and then you have a bunch of white people claiming the food you serve isn-t actually Asian. The food served here in the states might not be exactly like something you-ve had in the country that the restaurant claims their food is from, but that doesn-t mean it can-t be from there. Why is it that when my white American family makes a meal and then we get the same meal made by another white American it doesn-t taste like ours? Everyone has different tastes. That is why I can go to any of the local Asian restaurants in my area and order a meal that is called the same thing and yet they taste different and have different ingredients.

Things I'd love to see in Dine Out.
1) Longer hours of operation without the workers getting tired. I'd love to have longer restaurant gameplay.
2) A gradual closing process. I hate how the restaurant just shuts down and customers don't get to finish their meals and workers don't clean up the mess for closing
3) The glitch in the workers when you accidentally remove a requirement to build the restaurant. When you do that the workers are all removed and you'd have to re hire sims, re do their training, experience & pay. Super frustrating having to constantly start over!
4) More tables and chair options
5) More CHEFS and HOSTS!

Re-watching this review XD
By the way, I just realized the sims 2 had better non playable sims than the sims 4 for restaurant.
In the sims 2 non playable sims had better -manner-, they were ordering, waiting, and eating properly.
In the sims 4 when they were waiting for their food instead of sat down and patiently wait, they went to another table and chatting with another sims (sometime they stole another sims food. Not only that, sims had tendency to eating not on table. All of that made restaurant in the sims 4 look so disorganized.

by far my FAVORITE Pack, i love the idea of building restaurants. wish they payed more. but taking dates to Restaurants and ordering for the Table makes me so happy, i have me and my real life friends recreated in the sims 4 and being able to take me and my friends to Dinner or breakfast on my sims day off work makes me so happy and i love it. ill be honest to any people who are thinking about buying this pack, DO IT, if you really get into your sims and have your friends in your game as well its so fun going out to dinner!

They should have a buffet station where you can choose the type of foods in the stations, salad bar, desserts, e. t. c, so the sims self serve. the waiters just have to keep up with cleaning the tables, stocking up the food stations, preventing customers from fighting, sweeping floors from being dirty. Maybe even a revolving counter for sushi that is customizable to back tables right up against it and defiantly should bring back the tepenyaki table. The sims dine out has so much potential. I just got mine yesterday lol

Looking back at this video three years later and you asking the very important question of where's the ethnic food and then seeing how it came along slowly through the years in the form of more expansion, game and stuff packs that you had to buy really shows how greedy EA is sometimes. Now I have to say, they have given us some free meals like the free update that game at the beginning of 2019. But you would think for a 20 dollar pack like dine out, they would really have more choices to start.

For people watching this review who are looking to serve non American food at their restaurants, which the pack itself didn-t have like Lgr said, any food that you order from a food stall thanks to city living you can then cook in your restaurant. This leaves you open to serving whatever Indian, Central American etc you learn in your restaurant. Luckily with the newer patches you can also now be a food critic (though you still can-t be a waiter or actually cook for your customers.

Honestly, I really like this GP. Especially with GTW installed, it's nice to own a restaurant.
I only wish you could have your entire household work there as chefs, waiters, and hosts. You know, let yourself do the whole family-owned business thing. I guess you could make it by splitting up the household, but I mean without doing that.

I had just received food for me and my friend at fine dining. Before she could even start her meal, her plate was casually taken by another customer who apparently didn't want to wait for a waiter. In game of course. Luckily I haven't spent a dime on The Sims 4 so the 8-hour dining hurts a little less too.
