Well, I already bought the Pets EP for the Sims 3, and this game is a huge upgrade from the Sims 2. You get horses and small critters, and with that chicken coop from the Store, I can now make my own farm! The Sims 3 Store no longer offers ads that you can watch for SimPoints, so I can-t buy anymore Sims 3 Store stuff but back in the Sims 3 heyday, earning so many points and getting awesome deals were essentially how I accumulated a massive wealth of stuff from the Store. Not sure why EA got rid of that. I mean, ads could add a revenue source for EA, and I can earn my own SimPoints. It-s a win-win.
Anyway, I see no need to buy the Cats and Dogs EP. I already have the Sims 3 Pets, which is more expansive, and the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, which contains the Pets EP. So, why buy a rehash of earlier games?
I am saving up for Snowy Escape, though. The Asian theme is unique.

I love Cats and Dogs, but there is one thing I miss so much from sims 3.
One of my favorite parts of sims 3 was training the pets, it had so many more details. Cats and dogs, your sim just commands the pets a few times, and -POOF- your pet knows it. But in sims 3, It had so much detail. Your sim would actually act out what they wanted the pets to do, it just made it so much more, immersive. But my most favorite part was when you would command your pet to show off their tricks to sims, If you picked play dead, the sim would actually react! They would be started, oh I loved that so much!

I hope the sims 4 gets a expansion pack of a fantasy that improves occult-s and add new occults (like elves dwarves more magic and combine that with the realm of magic it makes magic more diverse than he actually is it also has a massive improvement two vampires that is if you owned the Sims 4 vampires) I also hope that the fantasy expansion pack Will add new mechanics and features. Ye know?

I-ve never actually played Sims 4 before, but I-m seriously considering buying it today. I have a couple questions tho. If I buy the -Island Living- pack, and the Cats and Dogs pack, will they be combined on the same game? I think it would be awesome if I could take my pets to the beach and stuff. I just want to know if you can play multiple packs at once.

I wish EA would-ve included more interactions between the pets themselves. Say for example, the dogs could-ve had a game of tug-of-war or the cats could groom each other. Little additions like that I feel would-ve just been a really cute addition and made the relationships between pets in a household more personable.

I constantly need to be reminded of why I don't want a pets pack. They are a pain in the ass. I own both Sims 2 pets and Sim Stories and every time I-m sucked in by how adorable they are and then I get it and it's like, ugh! This review totally reminded me, then sucked me in more at the end, dang it.

It's 2020 and I still think about how half-assed the expansion packs are, like they could have added horses! And made the pets playable! But noooooo that's too hard(no it's not) If they release a pack with horses, I bet they won't be ridable.

Wild animals were honestly my favourite part about pets in sims 3. It was quite hard to befriend wild horses and I never managed to get anywhere close to a unicorn.
Also having racoons go through your trash was always a welcome nuisance.

People are actually pay for The Sims are insane.
There simply is no way they can justify the 40$ tag on these.
I will maybe buy the main game, play until i get bored(not that long tbh) and then download a full pack 4 years later.

Wait, I have a question, can you click on cats and dogs like how you switch sims or are they like babies, were it teleports you to them but you can-t play as them?
