Season 2 absolutely sucked compared to Season 1. The pacing of the episodes was terrible, the humour was lacking, Peacemaker was just a sad idiot for the entire season, Flag senior turn to hating Metahumans makes 0 sense after Creature commandos and that ending was just a insult to the fans. It's hard to believe that DC learned nothing from the MCU and introduced the multiverse so quick after the reboot.

You just watched the first act and this is an intermission.
What you’re feeling is right now is called dramatic tension and you’ll be very happy that the whole story wasn’t resolved in one episode at the end of a ground level character based TV show. The resolution was perfect for this season of this show.

I love the show but James Gunn botched the ending. I would have ended it at the checkmate formation. Then tease what the bad guys were going to do next. That way our heroes get their happy ending but have no clue what's coming for them but the audience has an idea of how bad things are about to get for them.

Looper should have watched the Gunn peacemaker podcast before getting so much wrong. In the exact interview they used when Gunn was talking about what's canon he'd already said that the entire season 1 was canon except what they changed in the recap. So, they fought the alien butterfly's in canon.

I think the ending was good. The season was very GOT with the second to last episode being the action-filled climax, and the finale episode being the one that pushes the story further.
Cliffhanger with peacemaker is good as long as they don’t do what the MCU usually does and completely abandon it

Bordeaux mentions project butterfly specifically and that Peacemaker is in Argus' good grace as a result, and Adebayo says in episode one We saved the world. They also flash-back to Hardcourt getting shot and Peacemaker carrying her.
I think that's enough to make the butterflies cannon.

episide 6 and 7 were so good that i can excuse episode 8 for being a bit slow paced and character focused. this season did everything it needed to do, except set up Keith as a villian, but that can easily be done in season 3.

they literally say in season 2 to one of the main characters that they respect their work on project butterfly but- season 1 is loose canon, as also explained by gunn it is is a retelling of the events from only peacemakers view.

They wasted so much time with the bands, was a slow paced episode & lost it's momentum, & the cameos were not what they should have been, which were the bands. & didn't like the cliffhanger at the end.

Lex cloned Superman I'm wondering if that's really Flag or did Lex swap him out with someone that would push his agenda.
Remember the Asian guy said you've done a total 180 on Lex Luther since he was here!

Unwarranted criticism of him not being aware of the alternate universe demographic. Chris Smith is Gen X and grew up in a time before the intensive influx of people that now characterises much of the West.

So you should watch the Peacemaker podcast! It explains that everything was the same from season 1 but the justice gang at the end instead of the justice league but everything else was identical

This is a convoluted mess! Can we tell stories without multiverse overload CRAP! DC is just as ridiculous as Marvel at this point! I am entirely over this nonsense!

This thing was to much of a clown show. Who thought Cena playing Mr. Magoo would be a proper introduction to revised cannon GIVE ME A BREAK. What a Freaking JOkE.

Some of y'all were expecting Thanos level threats from a peacemaker tv show, a d-list character from a d-list team, and I just don't get it

This was such a boring, lackluster, lame season. I'm gonna rewatch Season 1 Peacemaker and pretty much forget this season ever happened.
