Films The Studios Don't Want You To See Jason: I see nothing wrong with Song of the South. I don't feel that the film paints a rosey picture of Reconstruction South. The singing seemed to me a way for the blacks to keep their spirits up, when they went from slaves to second class citizens (racism in the South wasn't suppressed by Reconstruction. If you think it is racist for Uncle Remus to just bare a scolding from his employers (and possibly former owners. Many slaves, not knowing what to do, got hired by their former masters, you are forgetting that talking back by a black during this time would be very harmful. We might as well ban all movies that have some perceived racist characteristics in it. I doubt that you can find many movies considered classics with non Whites in significant roles that don't have some controversy concerning how non whites are presented. Song of the South was a milestone. Previous movies never had an African American in a leading role

Song of the South should be released. Considering when it was made and the era it was set in, James Baskett's portrayal of an African American protagonist (Uncle Remus) was pretty unheard of. He even received an honorary Oscar in 1948 for his role. Hell, even Whoopi Goldberg called for Disney to release it earlier this year when she was honored as a Disney Legend.

Little bit of trivia people often forget: The Holiday Special was the first ever appearance of Boba Fett, lol. He's in the animated sections and it is what introduced him to the Stars Wars universe. Think about that for a moment, lol. It's funny that something so shitty gave us one of the characters with the most hardcore fanbases out there.

Never seen The Battle Of Endor and would love to watch it. The evil sorceress is played by an actress called Sian Phillips who is always brilliant. She was married to Peter O'Toole. Would also love to see the Star Wars Holiday Special. If only to see Bea Arthur singing to aliens.

Rad used to be on YouTube: +/
I remember tracking it down after getting tired of the Numerous references in American Dad and I think Family Guy
The plot is kind of dumb. But it's watchable for Lori Loughlin's Rad BMX skills alone LOL

I have Martin on VHS somewhere.
Got the Sw trilogy laserdisc.
The holiday special is good. It came out during a time when we ate up Star Wars. Same with the Ewok movies.
Got song of the south on laser as well.

I don't understand why these won't be released by the studios and producers? They just don't know the value of each as years go by. BTW, I like the two ewoks movie even if others doesn't think these are worth watching.

I never liked how Lucas kept adding changes to the original Star Wars movies like the infamous Han shot first scene, the Sarlacc Pit, and replacing Sebastian Shaw's version of Anakin with Hayden Christensen.

+Looper can you make a video about the reputation of the major studios, such as, Warner Bros, Disney, Universal, Paramount, Lionsgate and Fox. Also, can it be separated and make it about the studio themselves.
