my god, the extent of coppola's nepotism is disappointing. Francis really stigmatised his daughter, what a cunt. he was so blind & surrounded by sycophants that it destroyed his masterpiece & ridiculed his daughter, whose performance was so wooden & talent less, it was like someone had thrown a chair into the room. not only that, but sofia inherited her father's genes &, at her very best, was not photogenic. his nepotism had worked for his family before, the soundtrack, his beautiful sister but most definitely not with his daughter. His nephew (Nicolas Coppola aka Cage) had to change his name because he was so fearful of being associated with the crimes of nepotism. damn.

I would take a bad American actor over the recent flow of British and Australian actors. Most of the bad actors listed here still had good to decent movies. Most likely because Americans are easy to relate to. The worst actors they have cost Hollywood a ton of money have been Henry Cavill, and the British actors from GOT. Sophie Turner is the worst actress on planet earth. Jon Snow and Emilia Clarke can't act unless they play some boring British character.

the are many legitimate points you could have made about why people dislike kristen stewarts acting but saying she didn't act out 'the pain' in the right way is just absurd. It's the director's choice and no director ever sticks to the book word for word. Also, I've read the books and while I don't remember every single line, in the books the tranformation from a human to a vampire is generally described as very very painful.

I gotta disagree with the What's in the box! scene. That line has become a classic not because it was ridiculous but because it was powerful. I realize lots of different actors might have done it differently. But Pitt's hot-headed character would very likely do it just like that, where he had to immediately know what is in the box but also never wanted to find out.
Now the I don't waaant your life! line was quoted for being ridiculous.

The what's in the box? scene in Seven made Brad Pitt's career! And his acting in that scene made the movie! He acts like his character would have reacted, man, he does such a freakin' good job I can't think of a better performance he could have given. It's real. How many manly man cops would have reacted differently? That should be on a great acting scene list and it seems most are in agreement.

I guess I look at the scene in SE7EN completely different. My view of it is, its one of those moments when you know what it is but ask out of heartache, where you don't want to accept the truth. I don't mean Pitt's character actually knew it was his wife's head but he knew enough to realize that Spacey's character had killed her and in that perspective, I think Pitt was spot on.

That's a terrible video. Can think of dozens of worse performances than these. Fay Dunnaway's metal hanger tantrum in Mommy Dearest, for example? Halle Berry in, well, all of Cat Woman? The Room, for crying out. Loud. This comes across as 'I don't like these bits so I'm going to make my personal opinion objective so there. ' What a waste of 10 minutes of my life.

In all of movie history! Really? This is a weak ass list for all of movie history. Have you never seen best of the worst? Even varsity blues is a true masterpiece compared to the actual worst movie in history. Also, seven IS a flawless masterpiece. Sucks for you that your dipshitted frontal lobe doesnt function properly enough for you to recognize that.

Wiley Wiggins is so cringeworthy in that scene I can barely watch it. He's the worst part of Dazed and Confused by far. Just a very amateurish actor and it was distracting to watch him. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. There are better ways to show social awkwardness than pinching his nose repeatedly.
