I liked battleship and I what to see what happen next in the story between humanity and the aliens. Unfortunately we will never know now I just don't understand the negative reviews the only thing I though it need was more story about the aliens and there point of view and I thought they'll do that in the next move maybe starting off in the view of that alien coming out of that pod at the end after the credits, but as I side it looks like that not happening. :(

_Independence Day 2_ was a movie I had spent 12 years of my childhood waiting for, and it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped it would. My main issue was the short 2-hour runtime, even when reading the novelization it was obvious _a lot_ was cut out. But after all that, I can safely put the 12-year wait to bed and have _IDR_ on my DVD shelf but it will likely just gather dust in time. I wouldn't hold my breath for an _ID4 Part 3_ any time soon.

1. Independence day didn't need a sequel, it was ok with the first one.
2. We need a Battleship sequel because. why exactly?
3. Divergent series, the first book was ok and the second book I skipped a lot and didn't even tried with the third one. Although I do like the first movie.

Battleship might have done better if it was based in WWII instead, had Germans or Japanese in it instead of aliens, actually had a plot, and good characters. Instead we got an incredibly ludicrous and campy movie with aliens, no drama, and no character development. No wonder why it failed. I did not enjoy it, and I'm a fan of both action and sci-fi, but not a fan of Battleship.

More like, movies that didnt get a sequel because they flopped in the box office. theres a distinct difference, because as we all know, a movie being just straight up bad has never stopped big budget production companies from churning out as many sequels and spinoffs as they can. only until it inevitably tanks.

I liked Jumper, it may not have been amazing but it was different. The right story and director and we could have had a decent sequel but studios are just to cautious these days. Wonder how many possibly awesome sequels the people have missed out on because of this.

Battleship was awesome. Independence day was also awesome. I was in basic training when it came out. I bout the DVD when I got out. Jumper was ok but confusing. I was wondering why I am number four never continued I saw it more as a prequel than anything else.

I am number for and Jumper were good movies, shame they didn't have a sequel, Battleship was an ok movie, I even had an idea for the sequel, and Showgirls didnt already have a sequel?

Tweenage books make shitty films! Harry Pothead being the only exception. Jumper, Twilight, Divergent, Ender's Game, etc. Hunger Games was okay but nothing special, and no, making a shitload of money does not make movies good! See Twilight!
