Very much doubt they can surprise me with anything truly original, it's probably much the same re-used hollywood themes with a slightly different twist to them but still boring and always using the same predictable and boring actors. Only kids can be surprised by movies because they didn't watch the original versions, but if I was a kid these days I would rather be playing games with a PSVR and be immersed in the action instead of just watching things passively.

Re 'The Mandela Effect' This has been well explored by no less than three Japanese Anime TV series - 'Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex', 'Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GiG' and most particularly 'Paranoia Agent' - the best term to describe the effect is actually a Standalone Complex - a believed event without an origin, memetically transmitted across the collective unconscious.

I remember that a few years ago my teacher told me that Mandela died in prison and the next day, she said I was lying about it and that I had made it up
So I seared the internet and found stories about the Mandela Effect and forced her to read one of them
Afterwards she congratulated me and asked how the weather were in the alternative universe.

I do hope these come out and don't get scrapped, I hate how they hold off on already finished movies til X date, I say gohead and release them if they're done. Why's everything got to have a set date to come out, This is why alot of movies either never get released or delayed so long people forget about them, If it's done and completed than put it out already.

I wish more people would do what you did with your information and put time links to certain parts and label them for those times. All i really wanted to do when i clicked this video is see your selections and i don't have time right now to watch it all so just seeing your list is fantastic.

'Ready Player One' is a pile of CGI meh and 'Wrinkle in Time' is a grotesque heartless CGI mess. They're both under-performing shite.
Spot what they have in common, but at least RP1 had a plot and some momentum, even if the plot was just a sterile tournament.

Yeah, no, these blockbuster-designed, CGI-laden cash grabs most certainly won't be the most bizzare movies of 2018. In fact, all of those sound pretty normal, to me, most of them even generic. With the exception of Abruptio and the new Van Trier film, maybe.

I love weird, surreal, trippy movies but non of these movies interest me. I guess they either feel too childish and comic/cartoon like to me or some sick, sadistic, horror movie. I just want something deep, original and an actually mature movie.
