The Best Horror Movies On Netflix Right Now
video description
that sleep paralysis shit is real. when I was 16 a solid black faceless entity thing was at my bedside, it fell over/across my abdomin, felt like my very life and soul were being drained right out of me! I could breath, I could see I could not move or call for help.
all I could do was concentrate as hard as I could to get a whisper out,
a low demonic growl came from it.
in folklore such a thing is a nighthag a type of VAMPIRE
that was the most terrifying experience in my life.
so was it just the brain waking before the body causing a terrifying hallucination? Or do some of us really see and experience something supernatural and pregaps evil in that I between sleep and waking state.
I've spoken to others including an orthodox priest who had the same or similar experience.
also a side note this phenomenon only seems to happen when one sleeps on their BACK
I rarely do now ha ha side sleeper and stomach.

The Nightmare is a very good documentary, although it misses the final answer: How to overcome the experience. I cannot recommend it to everyone, because it takes a lot of. well, not even courage, but something beyond that. The willingness to accept whatever may come. The thing is, to get over the nightmare (sleep paralysis, you have to give in. Let the fear take you completely. Sounds horrible, I know, and I probably wouldn't have done it if someone had told me I should, but I was desperate at that point and simply couldn't take it any longer. So, I turned around (emotionally) and embraced the fear. Haven't had a nightmare ever since.

I suffer from sleep paralysis and yes, it is beyond anything a person who doesnt suffer from it can ever imagine. I cant even describe the sheer terror you feel when its happening, horrible things are all around u and you cant even scream. All u can do is lay there and be forced to watch them as you also cant look away either.
I have been working with a technique for sufferers that will allow you to jolt yourself out of it, but it is so hard to do, doesnt work as fast as we want it to, and is actually physically painful. But its better then laying there helpless in a state of blinding horror.

I've had sleep paralysis numerous times, but am apparently in the minority of people who haven't ever felt a presence of any kind. For me it was more frustrating than scary. I'd just be aware that I was in my bed, still kind of in an inbetween state of dreaming and awake, and couldn't move or fully open my eyes. Sometimes I'd even convince myself I'd gotten up and started walking around, still not being able to open my eyes from barely squinting, before coming back to reality and realizing I was still in bed. I'd love to know of anyone else who has a similar experience to this.

Watched The Transfiguration based on this top 10 video. I don't know what you're talking about with a scene so disturbing you may have to stop watching. The entire movie was not disturbing and no terrifying scene. This makes me question the judgement of whoever is choosing these films. I get the psychological horror as the premise and to think a young teen would do these things trying to be a vampire, but the entire time I was waiting for this horrifying scene. Sadly disappointed. I would love to know what you thouht was so bad you felt you had to stop watching.

I used to have these more as a child and less as an adult. Extremely scary especially when you let your mind paint pictures for you such as watching a scary movie before bed. Recently sleeping in bed with my girl I had the living room light on, all of a sudden it shuts off and I hear something making thumping sounds rushing towards the bed crawling on the floor next to my side. I freaked out then saw a black hand raise up. It felt so extreme I snap out of it and the living room light is back on.

Ive had sleep paralysis a lot in my life and never, not once, Ive seen creatures or shadows. Its upsetting to be trapped and trying to break free for some minutes but one ends up waking up eventually or if there are alarms, someone wakes you or you are able to make your hand fall from the bed as Ive done sometimes, it wakes you up. Normally I can growl when I have no alarm and if there is someone with me that I told them they wake my body up. Now Im 25 and it has gone away mostly.

Nothing will scare you if one is a student of physics, chemistry and maths! One can be magician in the eyes of commons if he is the expert in these subjects! Most renowned scientists can do things which are just above the understanding levels of commons but they don, t do it for the obvious reasons and sometimes the required material for the trick is not available or is not in enough quantity or the lack of required infrastructure or machine/machinery!

The Nightmare might be the scariest film I've ever seen. I watched it at 8 am after having just woken up. It stuck with me all day and that night I had a nightmare exactly like the ones shown in the movie. I've never had that happen before. I seriously thought I had gained unshakable sleep paralysis from this movie. That was three years ago. I still don't have the courage to watch it again.
